STILL AT KARATE-

"Fighting positions! Jab punch!" Sensei Said and people started doing it. "No wait till I say go!" He said "Hiyah!" He said and we all did it every-time he said that,

Eli didn't seem into it and sensei noticed. "Hey lip!" He said, oh fuck.. Eli looked around. "Yeah, you. The one with the freaky lip. Who do you think I'm talking to?" He asked. no Johnny.. please be nice once.. I prayed.

"Excuse me, uh mr. Lawrence" Demetri said. "Sensei Lawrence." Aisha said correcting him and Demetri raised his eyebrows "ok." He said putting his hands up.

"You really shouldn't make fun of someone's physical appearance" Demetri said. "Oh is that so?" Johnny said.

"So I'm not supposed to mention his lip at all?" Johnny said speaking again. Eli looked at me for comfort. "I'm sorry" I mouthed. "Well Yeah." Demetri said

"Maybe that's what they teach you in school, but in the real world, you can't expect people to do what they're supposed to do." Johnny said yeah he had a point, but he could lay off the poor kid..

"Alright? You hear that lip? If you can't handle someone making fun of you, how are you gonna handle an elbow to the teeth." Johnny spoke again.

"By calling the police." Demetri said. Demetri should not be here, Jesus.. "dude." Miguel said. "It's karate Demetri" i said adding on.

"What?" Demetri said. "Knock it off" Miguel said, "what? He does realize the Nazis lost the war right?" Demetri said. Oh my god. Shut him up. Please.

"Why should I be scared of him? Because he's got a snake on his wall? It's not like he's a teacher who can give us a bad grade.we're paying him, he works for us." Demetri said yet again. Running his mouth.

"It's not like he can actually hurt us" Demetri said. "Demetri shut up! He's going to kick your ass now!" I whispered. He looked at the now pissed off Johnny Lawrence with pure fear.

"Oh shit" Miguel said rolling his eyes.. "he's fucked" I said making Aisha giggle. Sensei walked over to Demetri. "You done?" He asked. "What?" Demetri said "hit me" Johnny said.

"This was gonna be a mess." I whispered to Miguel and he nodded. "Go ahead, hit me. Strike me right here" Johnny said pointing to his face. Demetri got into fighting position, and Johnny dodged it not even trying. "Oh damn" I said.

"Harder" Johnny said angry. Demetri looked around and did it Again. Johnny quickly dodging it. "Ah!" He yelled and Johnny replied. "Is that all you got princess?" Johnny said to Demetri

Me and Miguel smiled and giggled at Demetri embarrassing himself. Demetri aggressively strikes and Johnny dodges it flipping him to the ground. Demetri groaning. Me and Miguel cringe at the view.

"Let that that be a lesson all of you." Johnny said and with that the class was over.

Me, Miguel and Demetri were walking in the halls during school, "you can't quit!" Miguel said, "I got yelled at, got my ass kicked, and then gave him my money. You know who lives like that? Hookers" he said completely serious.

This kids got a way with his words doesn't he.. "yeah, but he's not that bad of a guy," Miguel said, "yeah you gotta give him another chance." I said adding to the conversation.

"You don't know him like I do" Miguel said, Demetri scoffed and replied with, "that- that's how hookers talk." He said

"Besides I don't need to learn karate when I have you guys" he said patting us on the shoulder smiling. And Demetri popped his head up, We looked up to see kyler, with a pretty roughed up face I'll add.
