DATE-

We drove around for about 15 minutes when we pulled up to a beach, it was empty. I've never seen an empty beach before. I looked out and saw a small fire and a blanket, it looked so romantic.

We go out of his car and he grabbed a picnic bag, we walked over to the blanket and sat down. "What do you think so far?" He asked sitting down. I smiled out at the sun set. "It's pretty great" I said and he nodded.

"It's about to get better" he said and I looked at him confused, he opened the basket to see all of my favorite foods. "Oh my god! How did you know all this stuff?" I asked.

"Well I asked your mom" he said and I looked at him terrified. "W-what.." I said and he smiled, "I knew you'd love it, I was gonna have her come out here but she said you wouldn't want that?" He looked at me. I took a bunch of deep breaths.. "you-you talk to my mom?" I asked he nodded,

"I guess I should tell you now.." I said and his smiled faded into confusion, "Harper what are you talking about?" He said.

"Eli, or Hawk whatever you wanna be called.." I said "you can call me eli" he said and I nodded. "Eli, my mom is a bad person.." I said and he grabbed my hand, seeing I was getting upset.

"She's a drunk, and I don't have anything against her for that, but when she's drunk she does bad things, Really bad things.." I said with tears in my eyes thinking about it..

"Harper what did she do to you?" He asked holding my hand still. I untucked my shirt and started to pull it up, I pulled it up enough to see my scar, he gasped.

It was a huge purple-ish white Mark the size of the length of a knife, I pulled my shirt back down, "check this one out" I said and drew a line under the scar, you can't see it unless I point it out. It's a thin scar that goes around my neck.

He looked at me, and pulled me into a hug, "your so strong Harper." He said and I hugged him back. Trying not to cry, "I'll have to tell you the stories another time. But let's enjoy this night, we deserve it" I said messing up his hair and got up running to the water.

He chased after me and eventually caught up to be picking me up over his shoulder, he took off running and I was laughing and yelling, "don't drop me!" I shouted laughing, "no promises" he said back. He eventually put me down,

The sun was setting and we were walking back to our blanket, "wow, it's so pretty" I said pointing to the sky, "I've seen prettier" he said, I looked at him weird, "really? What?" I asked. "I've never seen anything prettier then a sunset" I laughed,

He looked at me, "your prettier then any sunset" he smiled, I blushed. I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him. "I really like you Eli" I smiled and he did too. "I really like you too Harper." He said.

We got back to the blanket and sat down. "I was wondering if you wanted to spend Christmas with me?" I asked and he looked at me. "What do you mean?" He asked

"well every year for Christmas break, me and my family go to hawaii or something for Christmas, so I was wondering if you'd wanna come?" I asked and he smiled, "yeah duh!" He laughed and I did too.

We decided to eat the food, I grabbed the food and decided to throw some at Eli, first I prepared myself to run, I quickly threw it seeing it get all over his face. I got up running and he sat there for a second realizing what I did.

He smirked at me and got up running after me. He tripped me making me fall forward. He rolled me to face him and laid hovering over me, "you wanna play that game?" He said and I nodded, "yeah I do" I smiled

He quickly kissed me before getting up, he put his hand out to help me and when I went to grab it he pulled away making me stumble again "what rude!" I laughed and stood up.
