25 weeks pregnant

Since announcing they were a couple, the media had been bombarding them and paps were constantly around the house. Luckily, Jen had been able to hide on the few occasions she had to leave the house. Justin was so calm and collected when it came to the media. He had to admit it did bother him a bit but he never let on to Jen as she would stress over him, and in the long run he would deal with anything to protect and have the life he has now.

It was Sunday afternoon and unbeknown to Jen, Justin had arranged for all the girls to come round for an early baby shower. Due to everyone's schedules clashing, this was the only time all her friends and close family could join.

Court arrived with Coco, carrying balloons, flowers and lots of gifts.

"Hey Justin, how's it all going?" Court greeted Justin as he answered the door.

"Hey guys. I'm so stressed. Jen's been upstairs in the office all day on video calls and meetings, and I'm pretty sure she's onto me. She keeps shouting me to keep her company and I've been telling her I'm busy writing, which she questioned why I was doing it on a Sunday. Normally she wouldn't even ask but she's been so clingy lately, she wants me all the time" he smiles to Court.

"Aw, she's hormonal. I bet she just thinks you want a little alone time. I'm telling you now, she has no idea so don't worry" they enter the house and Court begins placing things where she wants them.

"This looks great already Justin. The baby Theroux banners are adorable" she turns to look at Justin, admiring the decorations he'd been busy doing.

"Thanks, they're great aren't they. She's gonna love them" Justin helps Coco put some gifts on the gift table.

"Oh Coco, Jen is going to love this card you've made" Justin rustles her hair lovingly.

"You can't wait to surprise auntie Jen, can you darling?!" Court hugs Coco proudly, and they all smile at each other.

"Right, I'll leave you girls to finish off. Everyone should start arriving soon but I best go give Jen some attention before she comes down" Justin says whilst leaving the kitchen.

"We've got it all covered Justin. Amanda will be here soon with the food. Go to Jen and keep her up there till I text you." Court leads him towards the stairs.

"Thanks Court. I really appreciate this" he pats her back sweetly as leaves.

Luckily the office is the other side of the house and has sound-proof walls due to recording equipment in there, so Justin is hopeful that Jen hasn't heard anything going on downstairs.

He approaches the door to the office and sneaks in slowly, smiling at Jen who is on a call.

She smiles and waves, reaching her hand out as he walks over to her. 

He grabs her hand and whispers "Hi babe" as he sits on a chair next to her, still holding her hand and reaches over to rub her bump with his other hand.

Jen finishes the call a few minutes later, spinning on her chair to face Justin.

"Hi honey" she leans to kiss him "I've missed you today. I didn't expect all these meetings to take all day." She looks at him, feeling guilty. He pulls her onto his lap.

"It's okay. I've managed to get a few more chapters done on my script. I have missed you too though"

"There's just one more meeting left about The Morning Show and then I'm free. Can you stay with me honey? It's only a call so you don't need to hide off camera" she reassures him.
