Our happy place

Being in Cabo was their favourite place. They had no distractions from anything else, just pure family time. They'd even been extremely lucky this trip to have only been spotted by paps once and that was from a far distance.

Jen woke to an empty room in their villa. She looked at the time noticing it was only 8am and rolled back over making the most of a lay in.

"Happy birthday to you" she woke again a few minutes later to singing in the distance. As she lifted her head off the pillow she saw Justin opening the door carrying a cake and Rosie ran in front of him, jumping on the bed.

"Happy birthday dear mommy happy birthday to you" they finished singing.

Jen sat up wrapping her arms around her daughter, squeezing her tight. Justin sat on the edge of the bed next to them.

"Mommy dis your cake" Rosie waved her hands from the cake to Jens face giggling.

"Wow.. are you going to help me blow the candles out?" she kissed her head and they turned to blow out the candles.

"Happy birthday baby" Justin leaned forward to kiss her sweetly.

"Thank you honey" she smiled softly stroking his thigh, still holding Rosie close.

"Mommy look a dis" Rosie climbed to the end of the bed where Justin had left a gift bag. She grabbed something out of it and crawled back to Jens arms.

"Oh that's beautiful baby. You're so clever" Jen stared at a painting off her daughter with 'mommy' spelt out, obviously with Justins help. She hugged her tighter and Rosie squealed with delight.

Justin watched them closely, smiling at their adorable interactions.

He reached for the gift bag and handed it to Jen.

She opened a gold watch from Justin, some perfume off Rosie and a few smaller bits and bobs.

"Thank you guys, these are lovely. I love them all... aren't I lucky?" she smiled sweetly at her family.

"We thought we'd get breakfast with Jason and Amanda then we'll do whatever you want to do on your special day" Justin suggested.

"All I want is to be with you guys" she stroked Rosie's hair who was preoccupied with one of Jens presents in her lap. "Can we stay at the pool and get dinner later?"

"If that's what the lady wants" Justin said reaching over to kiss her.

"Yeah..I just want to relax and enjoy some time at the pool in our special place... that's what makes me happy"

"Sounds perfect babe" Justin kissed her again.

A while later they'd all got ready and were about to head downstairs to go to the pool.

Jen walked into the room with a large bouquet of flowers and a banner saying 'happy birthday mommy'. She turned to Justin behind her.

"You're so sneaky" she hinted and he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Don't know what you're on about.. that was all Rosie" he joked.

"I love you... thank you" she kissed him cutely.

"Mommyyyy.. we go war-ta" Rosie asked from by the window, seeing the girls already in the pool.

"That kid cracks me up" Justin said and they chuckled at their daughters pronunciation.

"She's growing up... she never stops talking"

"Like her mother" Justin smirked smacking her butt before sneaking off.
