I've got you babe - Jennifer and Justin (Justifer)

SAG Presentation

Today Jen was being presented with a SAG Artist's of the Year Award.

She found out a few weeks ago and had been invited to a ceremony with all her friends joining her.

"Oh I wish you could come sweetie. You keep mommy calm" Jen spoke softly to Rosie, hugging her tight.

"You can show her when she's older, I'm sure she'll be more interested then" Phyllis said, taking Rosie from her.

"Be a good girl for grandma and mommy will see you tomorrow" she leant over and kissed Rosie once more.

"Have a great night Jen. You deserve this. We'll see you tomorrow" Phyllis hugged Jen and headed back to her car.

Chris and Angela were getting Jen ready. She left her hair quite natural and wore a long green v-neck dress.

"Should I wear the tie or not?" Justin walked in wearing a white shirt and black suit.

"Um.. no tie. It's more of a casual presentation. There'll only be us lot and a few photographers" Chris answered first.

"Yeah he's right. You look better without" Angela joined in, turning from doing Jen's makeup.

Jen looked at him through the mirror and smiled "You look very handsome honey."

He returned the smile and winked at her before leaving the room.

Shortly after Jen was finished getting ready and appeared downstairs.

"Oh finally.. we need to go Jen" Aleen stood up, checking her watch.

"Yeah I'm ready.. sorry I'm nervous. I've never been to one of these presentation things" she was fidgeting putting things in her purse.

"You'll be fine sweet. You'll have a video of all your work, there'll do a little intro for you to come on stage, answer a few questions over your filmography, you'll give your speech, a few photos then it's party time." Aleen reminded her of the schedule.

Jen took a deep breath and smiled "Okay let's go."

"You look beautiful baby" Justin kissed her as she walked towards him, waiting at the car.

"Thank you honey."

As they were watching a short presentation of all Jen's work, the audience kept wooing and cheering at the different roles. Justin kept squeezing her thigh reassuring her that he was there for her.

As she was called onto the stage, everyone stood up applauding her. Justin stood up, holding her hand. He leant over and kissed her cheek.

"Proud of you" he whispered quickly. She squeezed his hand thanking him as she made her way up.

Throughout the interview, she would make eye contact with Justin and he would wink back, letting her know she was doing well and he was proud.

"Before you give your acceptance speech Jennifer, there's someone special who would like to say a few words" the interviewer said.

Jen turned to face the podium as Court walked out. Jen was so surprised. She smiled over at Court, blowing her a kiss as she took her place.

"You didn't expect me to be up here did you?!" Court began.

Jen shook her head and everyone laughed.

"It took me a long time to write this speech because you know how much we all love you but I don't think you have any idea on the impact you have on everyone else in the world" she continued and Jen watched, shocked but smiling softly.
