I've got you babe - Jennifer and Justin (Justifer)

Our first film

27 weeks pregnant

It was press junket week for their film Wanderlust. They were so excited to finally promote the film that bought them so much joy.

Fortunately for Jen, a lot of the interviews were pre-recorded which meant she only had to be in a room with Paul Rudd, her manager, security guard and two film crew members (who had been sworn to secrecy about her pregnancy). The camera shots were cleverly focused above her bump and her manager had organised for the questions to be forwarded on so Paul and Jen could answer them without anyone actually there.

It had been a long day of press. Justin had been in a room next door with Malin for his interviews so they had only seen each other briefly between segments.

Arriving home later in the afternoon, Justin could sense that Jen was getting nervous for the premiere tonight. She knew their big secret would be revealed and was dreading the media attention that would follow.

"You okay?" he asked as they entered the house.

She smiled sweetly back "Yeah. I'll be fine honey, I just want tonight over with"

"And when it is you'll be able to relax more. Don't think about the announcement Jen, think of how amazing it is we get to finally see our film" he tries to reassure her.

"I know, I'm excited for that. I'm just scared what everyone will say" she leans into him.

"You've got nothing to worry about. Let them think what they want. I'm not going to let them spoil this for you, for us. I guarantee most people will be over the moon"

"You always say the right thing honey"

"That's my job" he smirks back, pulling her tighter. "Come on let's go get ready"

Chris and Angela finished up Jen's hair and make up. She was just walking out the dressing room when Justin came to see her. She's wearing a long black, sparkly dress with her hair loose waves. Her bump is still quite small but pronounced, adding to the look.

"Wow, you look beautiful babe" he hugs her and strokes her back.

"You look very handsome yourself" she grins.

"Here Chris, take a photo of us please man" he asks whilst passing him his phone.

"Let's go on the decking and get the sunset in the background" Chris suggests.

Justin takes Jen's hand and they head to the garden.

Chris directs them both for the best shot.

They're gazing into each other's eyes with their hands linking on Jen's bump, the other wrapped around each other. The sunset in the background adds to their perfect photo.

"Oh my god guys, this is fucking everything. It's stunning!" Chris gets excited, snapping a few shots.

They walk over to see the photos. "I love them, they're so cute. We need to get them printed for our photo wall honey" Jen states, rubbing Justin's arm.

"Yeah, we will" he kisses her.

"I've got an idea guys" Chris pauses, grabbing their attention. "Why don't you post this to instagram now? That way you've broke the news before the press and by the time you get there everyone will know so you can take it easier."

Justin glances at Jen awaiting her reaction. Surprisingly, she's the first to answer.

"That's actually a great idea Chris" she turns to face Justin "We knew this day was coming and I guess if we do this, it's like you always say it's on our terms"

Justin grabs her hands "Are you sure though? I don't want to take this away from you"

"Yeah, we should do it honey" she sounds positive "I'd rather it come from us first. Our daughter will always be part of our movie release. Post the picture and when we get there, we can act normal, happy and excited. Maybe I won't be so nervous then" she laughs briefly, reassuring Justin.

"Alright then, let's do this" he takes a deep breath and hugs Jen.

Justin makes the post, capturing the photo: 'honoured to have my two girls on my arm for our first film together'

"Well there we go, no more secrets" Jen sighs, relieved. They kiss proudly and they head out to the premiere.

In the car on the way there, Jen's publicist informs them of all the breaking news headlines. Justin tries his best to keep Jen calm.

"Babe, if at any point you feel uncomfortable and want to leave, please tell me" he reassures her and she smiles in return.

"Jen, as always just give me the look if you want to move on from an interview" Stephen reminds her.

"Thanks guys. I can't believe what we're about to do. Come on, let's do this" she takes a deep breath as they pull up outside the red carpet.

"I've got you babe" Justin faces Jen, letting her know he will be by her side. She leans over and they kiss before leaving the car.

As predicted, everyone erupts when they exit the car. 

Justin turns to take Jen's hand, giving her the stability she needed. They make their way down the carpet, cameras flashing and people shouting the whole way.

After a few photos of the cast and individual ones, Justin stands back briefly whilst they both go to do a few interviews.

He watches over Jen as Stephen guides her to her first one. Knowing how nervous she will be, he catches her eye and winks at her. Jen smiles sweetly back, thanking him.

"So Jen, it looks like congratulations are in order in more ways than one" the first interviewer asks.

"Thank you, we're very blessed" she replies, trying not to give too much away.

"The movie is incredible. How long into filming did you and Justin start dating?" sensing her uneasiness, Stephen starts to move Jen along to the next interview.

"Hi Jennifer. Congratulations to you and Justin. You must be thrilled to share this film together?" the next interviewer asks.

"Yeah we're so happy and excited for everyone to see it. We had great fun filming it last year." She replies with confidence, avoiding anything about the baby.

A short while later, after finishing all the press, Jen and Justin were reunited at the entrance to the cinema.

"How was that honey?" she asks Justin as he puts his arm around her back.

"Could have been worse. Avoided a few questions but all in all they were quite good" he replies, pleased with only a few awkward questions.

"Yeah, that wasn't too bad. I managed to escape a few unwanted questions"

"Hard parts over now babe. You can relax" He smiles at her as she squeezes his hand to thank him.

They head to their seats and enjoy the rest of the premiere.
