Media pressure

A few days later Court invited Jen over for lunch. They'd been talking the day before and Jen was saying she was fed up of being in the house.

"I'm going now honey. If we're still there after your meeting, you should join us" Jen says to Justin as she's putting Rosie into her car seat.

"No, you enjoy your girl time babe. You need some new company" He reassures her, knowing she's been missing interaction from other people.

"Thank you. We'll see you later" she says kissing him goodbye.

"Have fun girls."

As Jen's driving, she notices a few cars following her. She hasn't been papped yet with Rosie and is a little worried. She calls Justin for some reassurance.

"I've tried to lose them a few times but they're not giving up. I don't want them near her" 

Justin can hear the panic in her voice.

"It's okay baby, calm down. Do you want me to come and meet you?"

"No, you need to go to your meeting. I just don't want them to take photos of her."

"Drive to Court's and don't get out the car until her or Johnny are there okay?! I'll phone and let her know."

"Okay" she replied quietly.

Sensing she was still nervous he continued "Jen.. if they get any photos of her don't worry, we'll sue. They won't win" He reassures her.

"Yeah okay.. thank you honey" Jen answers a little calmer, thankful that Justin is on the same wave length and understands her.

"Text me when you're there and when you're leaving okay."

Arriving at Court's, Jen sees Johnny and Court waiting on the driveway. 

The paps are hovering over the top of the gate, snapping away.

Court rushes over, greeting Jen as she gets out the car.

"Hiya sweetie" she hugs Jen.

"Hey honey"

"You get Rosie out. Johnny is going to stand right behind you and I'll get your bags."

Jen quickly rushes round to get Rosie's car seat out, covering her with a blanket. Johnny stands right next to her, blocking the view of the paps.

They dash as quickly as they can into the house.

Jen sighs of relief, putting Rosie's car seat onto the kitchen island.

"Thank you guys" Jen says.

"Don't worry Jen. You'll be lucky if they got anything other than the back of your head" Court tries to comfort her.

"I think it's cause it's my first time out with her.. and on my own. I kinda went into panic mode."

"That's what being a mother does to you sweetie. You just want to protect them" Court wraps her arm around her.

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

Johnny walks into the kitchen.

"They've left. I've had security urge them away" He says.

"Oh thank you so much Johnny. I'm sorry for being a pain."

"Don't be daft. We understand. They'll do anything for a photo."

Court turns to take a crying Rosie out of her car seat.
