I've got you babe - Jennifer and Justin (Justifer)

I need to go

It was a Sunday afternoon. Justin was out with the boys and Jen was with Rosie at Court's house.

"So it seems like you enjoyed Cabo?" Court asked as they sipped their coffee on her couch.

"Oh it was beautiful. It was lovely to have some family time. Rosie was obsessed with the beach. I think Justin wants to build her a sandpit now" they laughed.

"I feel like she's grown so much after just two weeks away" Court said, watching Rosie walking around the room, dropping different toys along the way.

"I know. Her speech is getting more and more every day. She's got her own little personality now. It's like she's an actual person" Jen beamed watching her daughter entertain herself.

"Yeah, she's at the age now where you see what little monster she's about to become"

"Oh don't. I've only just settled on her turning one" They chuckled.

"Is she still obsessed with Justin?"

"Yeah. They're so cute together. She follows him everywhere. I came home the other day to her sat at his computer pretending to talk on the phone"

"That's adorable"

Rosie waddled over to Jen lifting her arms in the air shouting 'Mama'.

"Hi baby" Jen lifted her onto her lap, holding her close as she rested her head on her chest.

"Still loves her mama too though" Court added, loving watching their bond.

"Oh yes.. you're not forgetting me are you baby?" she kissed her as Rosie wrapped her arm around Jen, sucking her thumb.

"You guys are the cutest" Court and Jen smiled at each other.

"So how was your vacation honey?" Jen asked.

As Court started to answer Jen's phone rang.

"Hello"

"Jen it's Orlando. There's been an accident" her heart sank and Court noticed her face drop. "We were out on the motorbikes. Justin was in front of me at this intersection and before I knew it I saw him on the floor"

"What.. oh my god" Jen spoke quietly, trying not to disturb Rosie but terrified.

"What's wrong?" Court asked.

"What happened? Is he okay? Where is he?" Jen continued frantically asking Orlando questions.

"It happened so quickly, I'm not sure but a car that came out of no where. It hit him and sent him flying. The ambulance is here. We're going to the hospital" he answered trying to keep Jen calm.

"Orlando.. Is he okay?" she asked again after getting no response.

"He...he's not in a good way Jen" he answered quietly and slowly.

"I.. I'm.. I'll be right there. Stay with him please" Jen ended the call.

"Jen what's going on?" Court asked confused by the conversation. She could tell by Jen's face, it wasn't good.

"I..I..I um.. I need to go to.. Justin. He's been in an accident. I need to.. go" she stood up, walking round in circles, holding Rosie tight.

"Okay. Give me Rosie. I'll watch her. You go to Justin" she said, taking Rosie from Jen.

"Are you sure?" Jen asked still in shock.

"Yes. Don't worry about her she'll be fine. Just go to the hospital" she was urging Jen out the door.

Jen kissed Rosie's head and thanked Court.

"I'll call you later"

"He'll be okay Jen" Court reassured her.
