A month later

Jen and Justin had made significant progress on their wedding plans. Their eagerness to extend their family had bought them together again and they couldn't wait to make things official.

Today Justin had hired out a bridal shop for Jen and the girls. She had been adamant on having a seamstress round the house but he knew she'd love the excitement of going to a shop and choosing something more personal. It was arranged for them to arrive early morning so the paps wouldn't catch on.

After trying on several dresses, Jen was stood in front of the girls and a mirror in a white silky, slimline dress.

"You look beautiful Jenny" Sherry smiled sweetly.

"It is beautiful Jen.. I love it but I think I still prefer the second one" Andrea replied honestly.

"Me too" Court joined in.

"Yeah.. I love this style but I did really like the lace detail on the other one" Jen considered her options through the mirror.

"I think I have something else you might like.. I'll be right back" the owner spoke up.

"Why do you look so gorgeous in all of them.. it's not fair" Amanda joked and they all laughed.

"I know.. you could wear a black bag and you'd look insane. Justin's a very lucky guy" Andrea added.

The lady came back holding up another option of a slighter straight dress with lace detail and a v neck front.

"Okay you need to try this.. this is you all over" Court got excited.

"It's gorgeous" Jen said.

She turned to the dressing room to get changed with the help of the lady.

She walked out minutes lady and all the girls faces dropped, smiling softly.

"You look absolutely stunning" Andrea said first.

"Wow" Amanda added.

"That's the one Jenny.. you look incredible" Sherry said, standing closer to Jen smiling proudly of her step daughter.

"Seriously Jen.. you look unbelievable" Court smiled.

Jen turned to face herself in the mirror again and began getting teary.

"This is the one. I love it. It's perfect" she said. Sherry stroked her arm lovingly, knowing she felt all the emotions.

"I can't believe I'm getting married" she cried out.

"You're going to look like an absolute dream" Andrea said.

"I think we have a winner" Court said.

"... We do! Absolutely" Jen beamed.

After a lot of tears shed between them all, Court was driving Jen home after a very successful morning.

"Well I wasn't expecting to find the one today" Jen said.

"I know.. it was meant to be" Court replied and they smiled at each other, understanding the genuine happiness from the day.

"Um.. so how are things with you and Justin?" she asked after a while.

"You know.. we're actually in a really good place. I think he was just shocked and he felt disheartened at the news which I can understand, I would have been a mess but I surprised myself with how I dealt with it. I know good things are happening for us and getting married makes me so happy and excited. We understand and respect each other. We're really good" she drifted off slightly, smiling.
