18: I'll be your girlfriend

Elaine's POV

I hardly slept last night thinking about what Zara and Billie told me. Yes I really like Billie very much but I just don't know what to do. On the other side Zara was right about the first step being the hardest but now I know what to do. I haven't touched the road in a while so I get into my gym gear and go jog. After at least an hour and a half I go back to my apartment and freshen up. After that I slip into a black t-shirt dress which I top with a white corset on top and wear black block heels. I then head to Zara's room and I start bouncing in her bed.

Elaine: wakey wakey

Zara: urgh what do you want?

Elaine: I know what to do regarding this situation between Billie and I

Zara: okay what are you gonna do

I just stop bouncing on her bed and grinned from ear to ear. Yes I like doing her like that and she hated it when I do that.

Zara: gosh you're such an asshole

I just let out a laugh and walk away. I go and start preparing breakfast. I then I hear water in the bathroom I guess Zara was freshening up. After sometime she comes out

Zara: hey what are you making?

Elaine: omelettes

Zara: gosh why I so wish I was Billie I can't imagine all the food you'll make her.

Elaine: (giggle) whatever eat up

Zara: so what are doing today?

Elaine: it's a Monday today so I'm going to work

Zara: okay I'll drop you off

Elaine: thank you let's hurry up

After we are done eating breakfast Zara drops me off at the hospital.

Zara: when is your lunch so I can come take you out?

Elaine: let me check my schedule,at one until half past one

Zara: okay I'll be here

Elaine: (smile)bye

I go to the reception and find a blonde who helps me out and hands me over to Dr Khan who will be guiding me. Dr Khan is very kind so I was like his second assistant since he had to show me how things work here.

Billie's POV

I've been up since five and I keep thinking about what Elaine said. I don't understand how can she not see how beautiful she is. She's so beautiful and I'm sure she gets complimented a lot but she just does not see it. I think I'm falling for her. Yes she hasn't agreed to be my girlfriend but I hope she does because I can't keep my feelings for her hidden forever. I then decide to call her and her phone sends me straight to voicemail. Has she blocked me? She doesn't want me? I hope not because I have it bad. I gather myself and decide to leave her a message and realise that messages go through which can only mean I'm not blocked. So I decide to call Zara since it's so unlike Elaine to not answer her phone.

Zara: hello

Billie: hey it's Billie

Zara: oh hi

Billie: I've been tryna call Elaine and she's not picking up her phone, is she there with you?

Zara: no she probably switched off. She's started in the hospital today remember?
