Elaine's POV

I was at home chowing as always. I'm always hungry with this baby and I've gained a lot of weight. I no longer went to the surgery to work, I only went when it was necessary. I was seven months pregnant now and my bump was huge. The paps didn't know about anything like I had requested, even though it's hard for Billie to shut up about this but she was honouring my wish. While I was sitting like that watching TV Zara barged in.

Zara: Elaine we have to go

Elaine: evening to you too

Zara: okay hey how are you?

Elaine: I'm a little tired

She sits next to me and talk to my bump

Zara: you're always making mommy tired aren't you?

She then looks at me

Zara: come on I want to show you something

Elaine: Zara no

Zara: Elaine pretty please I want to show you something

Elaine: urgh okay I'll grab my shoes

I put on sneakers

Zara: dressed like that?

Elaine: why should I be glammed up if you're just going to show me something

Zara: okay fine let's go

We get in her car and she drives to some place where there was a dome.

Elaine: this is not your house

Zara: I never said we're going to my house

After she stopped the car she opens the door for me. She walks me in the dome when we get there people scream surprise.

Elaine: what is this?

Billie comes to me and pulls me in for a hug. It was my baby shower and I was wearing sweaters.

Billie: happy anniversary my love

Elaine: (teary eyes) baby

Billie: you didn't want a baby shower so I decided to do it on our anniversary so we'll have a reason to celebrate

I kiss her, then we're soon disturbed by Zara.

Zara: enough of that let's get you dolled up.

Billie: I'll go check if everything is fine

Zara takes me away and I find Claudia ready to do my make up.

Elaine: y'all are so sneaky

Claudia: there was no way you're not having a baby shower

Elaine: (giggle)

Zara: happy anniversary by the way

Elaine: I even forgot that it's our anniversary

Zara and Claudia doll me up then the shower started. There were pictures of my maternity shoot all over.

Elaine: so this is why you forced me to the shoot?

Billie: (chuckle) I wasn't gonna let you not have any of these.

Elaine: you're so thoughtful

Billie: (pecks my lips) I love you

Elaine I love you too

Time skip

My due date was in two days, a few days ago we finished making the nursery. I was in the house chowing and Billie had not come back from her rehearsals. After sometime she walks in and kisses me and the baby kicks.

Elaine: the effect you have on this baby is weird

Billie: (chuckle) what are you eating?

Elaine: vegan pound cake

She then walks to the fridge to get something.

Elaine: Billie

Billie: mamas

Elaine: isn't my due date in two days?

Billie: yes why?

Elaine: my water just broke

She looks at me with eyes wide open.

Billie: what?

Elaine: my water just broke

She started freaking out so I had to be the calm one. I'm a doctor so I'm used to such stressful situations

Elaine: Billie relax

Billie: okay what do you need me to do?

Elaine: (face palm) drive me to the hospital

She takes her keys and helps me walk to the car. After I get in she drives like a mad person, then the contractions started. When we get to the hospital I'm taken to the emergency room. Contractions got worse with every minute that passed. Billie was there holding my hand

Elaine: Billie if I don't make it please take care of my baby

Yes I was now freaking out, it finally sank in that I was about to give birth and the pain I felt made me think I was gonna die.

Billie: baby you're not gonna die, okay?

Elaine: (nods)

Billie: okay now push

Okay this felt like I was being tore apart. This pain was unmatched but I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Billie took her in her arms and she was smiling with teary eyes.

Elaine: can I see her

She hands her to me and she looked beautiful. The nurse took her for a check up. After they were done they brought her back,while I was holding her like that our family came in.

Maggie: we came as soon as we could but it seems she beat us to it

Zara: she's so tiny

Fin: what's her name?

Billie: Skylar

Elaine: Sade

Billie: Skylar Sade O'Connell

Elaine: no Skylar Sade Eilish O'Connell

Billie: thank you

We then called my mom and Isa to let them know that baby Skylar was here. My mom was so excited she wanted to come. After convincing her not to because she was busy with a new deal she decided that she'll come after the deal is sealed. Then Billie took a picture of Skylar's tiny feet and posted on her IG captioned "Skylar Sade Eilish O'Connell ❤️"

It immediately caused a frenzy amongst fans and paparazzi. Then calls flooded our phones asking if this is real or it's a prank of some sort. People couldn't believe that I was pregnant all along because I'd still make appearances in some award ceremonies and events.
