11: don't ever forget about me

Billie's POV

I wake up and notice that I slept in a chair and my neck was super sore. I grab my phone to notice that it was already 9am.

Billie: shit Finneas why didn't you wake me up?

Fin: (mumbles) what's the time?

Billie: it's 9am dude

Fin: damn why didn't you wake me up?

Billie: I just woke up

Before I could utter another word I could hear my mom knocking on my door calling out my name. Fin and I both look at each other cause we could hear sadness in her voice. I got out of Finneas' room and walked towards my room where she was standing. When I got there she gave me a opened envelope and gave me a pity look

Maggie: sorry baby

I immediately knew what was going on so I took the envelope and got in my room and take out the letter inside and read it.

It saddens me to tell you about my departure this way. I'm super grateful for all you've done for me. You became family to me when I needed one, you didn't only just take me in you showed me love too. Thank y'all very much but I could no longer stay with you. Let's just say finding out that you have been deceiving me it hit me hard but that doesn't mean I hate you. I just wanted to process all of this and it's a pity I had to find out the way I did. Billie I'm so thankful to you for hitting me with a car because had you not I would've never had an opportunity to meet such wonderful people and I really hope you make it big and I'm sure you will with your wonderful voice. I'm so excited for what the future holds for you. Please don't ever forget about me. And I'll always treasure that moment for life only you can know which moment I'm talking about.

I didn't realise I was crying until my tear dropped on the already tear stained paper I was holding. I nicely folded the paper and placed it in my pocket. I then layed on top of my bed and tears kept streaming out. After sometime Fin came inside and stood by the door.

Fin: Bil

Billie: what do you want?

Fin: nothing I just wanted to check on you

Billie: say it! Say you told me so! Just fucken say it!

Fin: Billie I'm your brother so no I'm not gonna say I told you so but I'm gonna be here for you anytime you need me

After he said that he walked away

Elaine's POV

We were now watching Netflix it was already 12 at noon. I was feeling much better now and Zara has been so good to me.

Elaine: (whine) this documentary is sooo boring

Zara: (chuckles) okay what you wanna do?

Elaine: video games?

Zara: get ready to get your ass whooped

Elaine: there won't be ass whooping here

Zara: huh?

Elaine: yep we're playing Ilo and Milo

Zara: you for real?

Elaine: (baby voice) pweease

Zara: fine...let me grab some drinks
