Elaine's POV

Today it's kinda chilly and I was off because we had an interview later on. Billie and I were preparing for the virtual interview. Skylar was lying down in the rug colouring in on her colouring book.

The interview started and we were being interviewed by one of Billie's industry friend Luke.

Luke: hey guys how are you?

Billie: we're good how are you?

Luke: I'm good, I haven't seen you in a minute

Billie: yeah man I've been busy trying to balance family life and my career y'know

Luke: yeah speaking of family I heard that y'all were celebrating your five year anniversary a few days ago

Billie: yeah man I also still can't believe that we've been married for over four years

Luke: it must have been a rollercoaster ride isn't it?

Elaine: definitely yeah, but we've always been there for each other y'know

Luke: yeah we've seen you go through it all, but what I want to know is how has marriage been treating you?

Billie: (chuckle) I bet that's what everyone wants to know, to be honest with you it hasn't really changed much

Elaine: yes we're pretty much the same, we've always lived together so it wasn't much of a change

Luke: yeah

Billie: (chuckle) I bet ya'll think that we're always  fucking, which we don't because I only make love to my wife (laugh)

I nudge her and she laughs louder

Luke: (laugh) I know that you two were always up in each other's space whenever we'd meet, I thought that changed

Billie: it hasn't really changed but now we have to be very careful with Skylar around

Luke: (chuckle) speaking of where is she?

Elaine: Skylar come here

Skylar: mommie I'm not done

Elaine: come baby

She walks to us with her lips pouted, when she gets here I pick her up.

Elaine: here is the drama queen

Luke: (chuckle) she's so cute

Billie takes her from me

Billie: mom's little princess

Elaine: say hi

Skylar: hi

Luke: how are you?

She hides in Billie's boobs, she's shy around people she doesn't know.

Billie: it's okay baby

Skylar: I'm good

Luke: what's your name?

Skylar: Skylar Sade Eilish O'Connell

Luke: (chuckle) how old are you Skylar?

She puts out two then whispers to Billie, after that she gets off Billie and continue colouring.

Luke: she's so pretty

Elaine: thank you

Luke: tell me how it's like to be parents at such a young age?

Elaine: uhm I don't think being a parent has anything to do with age, I just think anyone who is responsible can be a parent

Billie: yeah she's right, we became parents when we were twenty two but we managed to the best parents to Skylar as we possibly can. It's just all in your head, if you're determine about something then you can do it

Luke: word, so how do you manage being always there for every little moment, as you said earlier you're always busy?

Elaine: we try to spend as much time with her as possible y'know, when I'm not here Billie is and when I'm here she's not but we try as hard as we can.

Billie: yeah we're always busy but if you really adore someone you make sure that you're always there for every tiny moment.

Billie wraps her arms around me and I lay on her boobs.

Luke: I see you getting cosy

Billie: we're gonna be doing this for the following hour so we might as well get comfy

Luke: yeah so how do you tell who she's calling, because I assume she calls both of you mom?

Elaine: no she doesn't call both of us mom, she calls me mommie and Billie mom. It's very subtle but it makes it easy to communicate

Luke: (chuckle) oh yeah, I heard she's very smart too

Elaine: (giggle) yeah Skylar is very smart and sometimes she just asks questions I don't know how to answer

Luke: like?

Elaine: not so long ago she asked why she has two mothers where as other kids have a mom and a dad

Luke: (laugh) how did you answer that?

Billie: we just told her the truth, that we love each other and that meant she gets two mothers. At first she didn't understand but we went on to explain to her.

Luke: (nods) yeah, we have limited time so I'll just ask a few questions.

Luke: who spoils Skylar the most?

Elaine: her

Billie: (chuckle) yes it's me

Luke: I heard African mamas don't play

Elaine: (giggle) no I'm not hard on her it's just that she manipulates Billie

Billie: no she doesn't

Elaine: yes she does

Luke: so are you planning on expanding your family or otherwise

I look at Billie who pecks my lips

Billie: we are considering it

Elaine: we are?

Luke: (chuckle) don't you want other children?

Elaine: I'm not sure, giving birth is the most painful thing I've ever done

Billie: (laugh) while she was giving birth she said "If I don't make it please take care of our baby"  and in my head I was you're going nowhere without seeing our baby

Luke: (laugh)

Elaine: hey I thought I was gonna die okay? imagine a human head coming out of you

Billie: but I'd really love to have another kid, I actually want seven kids but Mrs ain't feeling it so

Luke: seven kids?

Elaine: I know right?
