Elaine's POV

Finally the day that my friends were excited for more than me came. They were here helping me look the part. You'd swear I'm going on prom. Zara had chosen a nude dress with an open back and it had strings. Claudia gavea natural look with over glossed and overlined lips then did my hair into a bun and gave me edges.

Elaine: I look like I'm going to some red carpet

Zara: you gotta turn heads girl

Claudia: yeah you look beautiful

Elaine: thank you guys

Zara: it's okay just go make us proud and get some

Elaine: geez Zara it's just a friendly date

Claudia: (giggle) we gotta go now okay?

Elaine: okay I'll video call you after the date

Zara: okay we'll be waiting.

Zara opens the door to walk out and she finds Alex about to knock.

Alex: oh hi

Zara: hi

Claudia: hey

Alex: is Elaine here?

Claudia: yeah she's inside

Zara: we're going now you better treat her right okay?

Alex: (chuckle) always

Zara and Claudia walk away, then Alex walks in.

Alex: hi

Elaine: hey

Alex: you look beautiful

Elaine: you're not bad yourself

Alex: by the way this is for you

She hands me flowers

Elaine: thank you they're beautiful

Alex: shall we?

Elaine: yes let me grab my bag

I put the flowers in a vase then grab my bag and we get to the car and she opens the door for me.

Elaine: thank you

Alex: no problem

She gets in and she drives

Elaine: so where are you taking me?

Alex: somewhere not far from here

Elaine: so you ain't telling?

Alex: no

Elaine: anyway how was your day?

Alex: it was boring but I was excited to see you

Elaine: (giggle) really?

Alex: yeah I was so nervous

Elaine: (giggle) I thought we are way past the nervous stage

Alex: not when it comes to you

Elaine: (blush)

Alex: how was yours?

Elaine: I spent it tryna look good for you
