I was online finalizing the payments of the gifts I'm getting Billie on her birthday on the up coming week. She was always busy but she always made time to spend with me. She got in and I closed the laptop and took off my spectacles and smiled at her. She came and kissed my cheek

Billie: what are you hiding?

Elaine: nothing I just missed you

She grabbed a energy bar from the fridge

Billie: you want anything?

Elaine: no I'm fine

She plopped on the sofa next to me

Billie: (chuckle) guess what I saw?

Elaine: what?

Billie: I saw someone proposing to their girlfriend in a restaurant and it made me think of us

I snuggled into her

Elaine: what about us?

Billie: don't you want to get married?

Elaine: I do but I don't wanna be proposed to in a public place, what if I was gonna say no now I have to say yes so you don't die from embarrassment. Imagine that pressure

She sits up straight and plays with my hair

Billie: why would you say no?

Elaine: sometimes circumstances force you to say no

I say that while I get up to prepare dinner

Elaine: I can really love you but still feel weren't compatible for each other

She comes and wraps her hands around my waist

Billie: so do you think we're compatible for each other?

I turn around and face her

Elaine: yes we are

She smashes her lips against mine, I talk in between the kiss

Elaine: aren't you hungry?

Billie: I'm only hungry for you

She lifts me up and put me on the kitchen counter.

Elaine: Billie I love you

Billie: I love you too

She pulls me closer to her and deepens the kiss.

Elaine: baby wait

She pulls away and looks at me with concern

Billie: what's wrong?

Elaine: (giggle) nothing is wrong I just want to thank you. Thank you for being my girlfriend and never giving up on me. If it was anybody else they would've left long ago. You stayed with me when I was at my lowest and you loved me despite all my flaws. You taught me how to love me too. You always reminded me that I can't pour from an empty cup. She wipes my tears away then peck my lips.

Billie: (chuckle) it's crazy because when I met you I was in a very bad space but whenever I was with you, you gave me hope by just smiling. I never told you this but I had a crush on you the first time we spoke even though you told me you hated me. I loved you even more when you rejected me. Elaine: (giggle)

Elaine: you finally pronounced my surname right

Billie: (chuckle) told you I'd get it

Elaine: I love you Billie it's not even funny anymore

Billie: why is it supposed to be funny?

Elaine: it's supposed to be all fun and stuff now I'd jump off a cliff for you and I don't think that's right

Billie: (chuckle) I love you too

Elaine: now let me go so I can start on dinner

Billie: let me help you

Elaine: okay can you please chop these for me

I give her vegetables

Billie: what are we making?

Elaine: chicken pea butternut tagine

Billie: so how was your day?

Elaine: it was busy I'm still trying to get more investors

Billie: let me help you

Elaine: baby I this is something I wanna do by myself, I don't want to get investors because I'm Billie Eilish's girlfriend but because I'm capable. Don't get me wrong I love being your girlfriend but I also want to someday tell my kids I achieved something for us without your help

Billie: it's okay I get it

Elaine: thank you for understanding

Billie: it's fine bebe

She then pulls me to her and kiss my neck

Elaine: babe we're supposed to be cooking

Billie: but I don't want what you're cooking I want something else

Elaine: something like?

Billie: tan and pinkish ins....

I shut her mouth with my hand

Elaine: (laugh) Billie!

Billie: you asked didn't you?

Elaine: (face palm and laugh) you're so stupid

Billie: so are you gonna give it to me?

Elaine: (smirk) how bad do you want it?

Billie: bad really bad

She quickly switches off the stove then carries me on her shoulder then head to the bedroom
