Billie's POV

I ended up falling asleep next to Elaine but then I feel Elaine waking up, so I wake up too and give her a glass of water.

Billie: how are you feeling?

Elaine: I'm better now

Billie: your mom is not back yet.

Elaine: good

Billie: what do you mean good?

Elaine: I don't want her to see me like this

Billie: what do you mean? You're not gonna tell her?

Elaine: no I'm not

Billie: you're kidding right?

Elaine: no I'm not

Billie: Elaine you have to tell your mother she deserves to know

Elaine: who do you think you are telling me what to do?

Billie: I think, no I don't think I know I'm your girlfriend

Elaine: you're not the boss of me

Billie: yes I'm not I'm just someone who cares about you

Elaine: it sure doesn't look like that to me you just wanna be known as the girl who saved me

Billie: really now?

Elaine: yes really

Billie: wow I can't believe you just said that

Elaine: you know what get out of my room I wanna sleep

Billie: gladly

With that said I get out of her room and slam the door. I go to my room and I decide to call Fin but his phone goes straight to voicemail. I was so angry at Elaine how could she say such? I then lay on my bed. Then there's a knock on the door

Billie: come in

Isa: hey, I was wondering if you wanna watch The Office?

Billie: yeah sure

Isa and I head down stairs to the TV room and watch The Office. After some time Elaine comes down.

Elaine: Isa can I please talk to Billie?

Isa: sure I'll be in my room

She sits down next to me and I just ignore her.

Elaine: can we please talk?

Billie: about what? I thought I'm controlling you

Elaine: (sigh) I'm sorry

I turn to look at her.

Billie: for?

Elaine: for talking to you like that and saying all those things. I know you genuinely care about me. I'm sorry

Billie: it's okay just tell me why you don't want to tell your mother?

Elaine: their father was my dad's best friend so we're family friends and I don't wanna ruin that for something that didn't even happen.

Billie: what if I wasn't there?

Elaine: but you were there

Billie: that's not the point and you know it.
