Billie's POV

Elaine slept peacefully for the first time since she came back. I guess confiding in me helped her. I make her breakfast then take it to her.

Billie: baby wake up you need to eat

Elaine: (yawns) morning

Billie: morning beautiful how did you sleep?

Elaine: I slept like a baby...wait what's the time? I'm gonna be late for work

Billie: relax I called them and told them that you couldn't make it today

Elaine: but....

Billie: huh uh you're all mine today

Elaine: (giggle)

Billie: here's breakfast you must be hungry

Elaine: (pout) I'm not really hungry

Billie: Elaine come on you know how hard I worked on this? Do it for me then

Elaine: okay but you'll have to eat with me

Billie: but I made this for you

Elaine: I won't eat then

Billie: okay fine

She flashes her beautiful white teeth. We eat her breakfast while talking about random stuff. Then her phone bings and she picks it up and she looks nervous.

Billie: who is that?

Elaine: it's my results for y'know

Billie: oh I'll give you some space

Elaine: no I want you to see them with me

Billie: are you sure?

She nods then open the results from her phone. She then looks at me and smile.

Elaine: I didn't get infected I was so worried.

Billie: I'm glad you're fine

Elaine: I don't know how I would've coped if he had infected me

Billie: I would've been by your side

She hugs me then kisses me

Elaine: thank you

Billie: for breakfast?

Elaine: (giggle) no silly for being the world's greatest girlfriend

Billie: I love you

Elaine: I love you too. Since you made me skip work what are we gonna do?

Billie: we can stay indoors

Elaine: okay let me freshen up then

She goes freshen up and I go to the kitchen and find Isa still eating.

Isa: I didn't know you can make such a delicious breakfast

Billie: (chuckle) there's lot you don't know about me

Isa: that should change you're my sister in law after all

Billie: it sure will

Isa and I wash dishes. After sometime Elaine comes to the lounge.

Elaine: hey Isa

Isa: hi how are you feeling today?

Elaine: I'm feeling better. Where can I help you?

Billie: you can just pick a movie

Isa: she'll put her romcoms

Billie: it's okay

She sticks her tongue out at Isa

Elaine: thank you babe

After we do the dishes we grab popcorns and head to the lounge and Elaine puts her on Last Christmas. Isa gives me the I told you so look but I just ignore her. Elaine places her head on my lap and the bowl of popcorns in her tummy. She watched the movie and I kept staring at her and she keeps stealing glares at me.

Elaine: why you looking at me like that?

Billie: because you're beautiful

Elaine: (squint eyes) you sure that's all?

Billie: yeah you're just so beautiful and your skin is very smooth.

Elaine: (chuckle) you're always on top of me and you only see that now?

Billie: it's not my fault you get more beautiful  each and every day that passes.

Elaine: have you seen you? plus there are million of girls who would do anything to have you in their arms

Billie: well I only want you then.

She lifts her head from my lap and kisses me until we're disturbed by Isa.

Isa: guys come on I'm also here

She giggles before breaking the kiss and cuddling into me, and places kisses all over my face.

Elaine: I love you

Billie: I love you more

Isa: living with love birds is a struggle, I'll be in my room

Elaine: (giggle)

Billie: (chuckle) what you want to do love bird?

Elaine: I just wanna snuggle with you you're so warm plus you smell good

We snuggle while I play with her curls.

Billie: babe

Elaine: mmhmm?

Billie: I think you should open a case

She gets off of me

Elaine: I thought we're not gonna talk about this

Billie: but Elaine we have to do something

Elaine: I don't want to okay! I just want to put it in the past

She then ups and leave. I follow her to the bedroom.

Billie: Elaine listen

Elaine: go away

Billie: don't you want to see him behind bars? He could hurt other innocent people.

She sits up straight in bed and looks at me.

Elaine: Billie I'm scared his dad is very influence

Billie: but so am I

Elaine: but I'm not you

Billie: you're my person my better half

Elaine: okay I'll think about it

Billie: thank you

I kiss her forehead and we get in bed then cuddle.

Elaine: what if he denies everything?

Billie: we'll still make sure he pays for what he did

Elaine: what do you mean?

Billie: ssshh sleep my love

Elaine: I love you

Billie: I love you too mamas

She then wraps her legs around my torso and I pull her closer to me and kiss her forehead then we sleep
