Elaine's POV

I just got back from work and I was preparing dinner. It's a Friday night and Billie and I usually have movie nights if she's not busy but she had not come back yet. I was still cooking when my phone started binging and it was a message from Billie. I take it and she had sent me a location.

Billie is such a pain in the ass, I switch off the stoves then grab my car keys and drive to the location she sent to me. All sort of things we're going on in my mind whether she's okay or not. I finally arrive in the location and find her standing outside her car. I run to her and hug her

Elaine: are you okay? what's wrong?

Billie: nothing is wrong

Elaine: you scared me

Billie: I'm fine

Elaine: then why am I here

Billie: get in the car

Elaine: what about my car

Billie: I have it taken care off

Elaine: okay

It's crazy how I trust Billie, I trust her like a blind man. I get in her car and she drives, I kept asking where we were going but she'd just smile at me and brush my thighs. After what felt like a decade she stopped the car.

Elaine: tell me again why are we in a veld?

Billie: ssshhh you'll see

She got out and opened the door for me. We stood there and it was kinda chilly so Billie gives me her jacket. I was getting impatient now.

Elaine: Billie what's going on?

As I was asking a big truck comes our direction and cars with all our friends come too.

Elaine: okay what's happening?

She just pecks my lips and the truck stops then Billie pulls me near it. I look at her and see that her crew,family and our friends were here with thier phones out recording us. I hold her hand tightly

Elaine: Billie tell me what's happening?

Billie: don't panic it's nothing bad

Elaine: okay

Billie signals for the big container on the truck to be opened. When the container opens loads of balloons fly out. I turn to look at Billie and she signals for me to keep looking. I look at all the balloons flying out then I see the hugest Teddy Bear ever. I could tell it was costume made as it had leather paws and diamonds eyes. My eyes were now filled with tears. I turn to look at Billie and I see her holding a box in her hands, my eyes widen. When she opens the box I feel relieved, she had gotten me a sapphire necklace. Don't get me wrong it's not that I don't dream of marrying her I just think we should take it slow.

Billie: don't cry

I look at her still with tears in my eyes then kiss her. After that I hug her again.
