My anniversary with Billie is in a month and I know exactly what to get her. So today after work I have to meet up with a breeder, but I still have to ask Dr Khan about getting some sort of leave. When I get to work I go to his office and knock.

Dr: come in

Elaine: good morning

Dr: morning come sit down

I sit down nervously as I don't know what to expect.

Dr: what's wrong?

Elaine: uh I wanted to ask if I qualify for a leave?

Dr: is something wrong?

Elaine: no not at all I just wanted to take a two weeks leave next month if possible

Dr: yes it's absolutely possible

Elaine: oh thank you very much

Dr: it's okay, so tell me how is it like working here?

Elaine: it's a delight everyone is so kind and professional

Dr: it's good to hear that, I must say I'm impressed with you the reports I get about you are good

Elaine: thank you sir if you may excuse me

Dr: sure

I was so excited because basically my leave has just been approved and I'm gonna get Billie something I'm sure she'll love. I bump into Angie in the corridors.

Elaine: oh sorry I didn't see you there

Angie: it's okay, you look happy

Elaine: yeah I am

Before Angie can go on my phone started ringing. It was Zara so I excuse myself from Angie.

Zara: so how did it go?

Elaine: I got it so the surprise is on

Zara: wooo I'm so excited

Elaine: I know right?

Zara: so what are you getting her?

Elaine: go with me to the breeder maybe you'll find out?

Zara: you don't have to ask me twice

Elaine: (giggle) thank you I have to get back to work now see you later

I drop the call and continue doing what am payed for. When it was lunch I got a call from Billie.

Elaine: baby

Billie: mamas

Elaine: you look tired what's the time there?

Billie: it's two am

Elaine: babe shouldn't you be asleep?

Billie: I wanted to talk to you

Elaine: you're so cute

Billie: (chuckles) you still at work?

Elaine: yes I was just about to finish lunch

Billie: who you with?
