161: story of our life Pt1

Elaine's POV

Ever since we shared how we first met we've been getting calls to do interviews about our story. To my surprise people find it quite interesting, so today we were doing an interview with Luke one of Billie's industry friends. The podcast started and he introduced us and stuff.

Luke: yo ever since I heard your story on how you met I wanted to do this podcast to get to know more

Billie: (chuckle) I bet you're not the only one who wants to know

Luke: I bet too, so what happened after she hit you with a car?

Elaine: well I lost my job y'know and stayed in hospital for sometime as she had broken a few ribs and my arm. She would come to visit me everyday and sneak in sweets for me and stuff so she grew on me.

Luke: so she sneaked in food for you?

Elaine: pretty much yeah

Billie: (chuckle) anyone knows that hospital food is boring so I brought it upon myself to sneak in nice things for her every once in a while

Luke: (chuckle) so what happened after you got discharged?

Elaine: well I was convinced that I was getting evicted and I'd be homeless so it was easier for her to trick me to stay in her house. At first I was very hesitant but she assured me plus I had gotten used to her family as they would also come to visit me. I stayed there for a month right?

Billie: I'm not sure for a month or two before fully recovering

Luke: where did you go to then?

Elaine: (giggle) okay this is where things got complicated, did I mention that I now had a crush on her? So one day I decided that I want to make dinner for them as a token of appreciation, so I made dinner. After dinner Billie and I went to her room and I gave her cupcakes that I had bought earlier for her. We then ended up fighting for a cupcake and we kissed.

Luke: what?

Elaine: yeah I know, then I went to my room

Billie: huh uh, that's not what happened she pushed me off her and ran to her room and I sat there confused because I was pretty sure she felt the same way I felt about her.

Luke: she ran away from you? It's either you're a horrible kisser or...

Billie: huh uh I'm anything but a horrible kisser

Elaine: (giggle) will you let me finish?

Luke: okay so why did you run away?

Elaine: one the kiss was sloppy (laugh) two I was now certain that I was gay

Luke: so you didn't know you were gay?

Elaine: Uhm not really because I was attracted to girls but I never thought much of it y'know

Luke: oh, so why was the kiss sloppy?(laugh)

Elaine: well it was my first kiss

Luke: what? You got your first kiss when you were seventeen? Kids be out here loosing their v-card at thirteen

Elaine: I always wanted my first kiss to be special and to be with someone I trusted

Billie: so you trusted me?

Elaine: (giggle) shut up

Luke: so after you kissed you stayed in your room until morning?

Elaine: no I couldn't I kept thinking about her and the kiss, her lips were so soft and savour. So I went back to her room and we cuddled and kissed again after I told her the reason I ran away

Luke: yo Bil weren't you surprised when she told you about it too?

Billie: dude I was so shocked I mean mamas is so beautiful, so when she told be I was hesitant but then I thought why would she lie to me plus the kiss was proof

Elaine: hey! (giggle)

Billie: but it wasn't that bad for a first timer

Luke: (chuckle) okay so I was told that after that things went south you found out about Billie's identity

Elaine: yeah I did and I felt played because now I wasn't sure if this is all a game to her y'know so I moved out.

Luke: how exactly did you find out?

Elaine: all this happen in one night, we were still in Billie's room cuddling when it came to me that I hadn't called my mom and I had promise her. She borrowed me her phone to FaceTime my mom then Isa my little sister came and saw her, she screamed like I she just saw a ghost. All along she saw Billie, I googled her and she was there never have I felt this stupid in my whole life.

Billie: she then stormed out and locked here in her room I tried talking to her but she had made her mind up about leaving

Luke: why did you want to leave so bad, because if it was any other person they would've been happy that they're living with celebrities

Elaine: to be honest with you I was scared, I was scared because I was starting to really like her and if she hid such a huge part of her life from me what else could she be hiding y'know? This was a foreign feeling for me, liking someone this much mind you she knew everything about me so I felt wronged because she hid this from me so I walked away.

Luke: yeah I see what you mean, Billie what made you hide this from her?

Billie: I hid my identity from her because of many reasons. Like you just said that if anyone found out that they're living with "celebrities" as you say they would get happy and when that happens people start treating you different than before. So I hid it because I liked her and I wanted her to like me for me the real me not Billie Eilish the singer

Elaine: but babe that's part of who you are and you can't change that

Billie: yeah but seventeen year old Billie was naive

Luke: so when you left where did you go?

Elaine: I went to stay with my friend Zara, when I told her she was shocked that I didn't know Billie but I listened to some of her friends like Sabrina Claudio and Jessie Reyez

Luke: really?

Billie: yeah and 6lack too but she didn't know me imagine?

Elaine: come to think of it maybe I had seen you somewhere but never really paid attention to you

Billie: and that's supposed to make me feel better?

I peck her lips and giggle

Elaine: I was at my friend's house but spiritually I was at Billie's. I missed her but I couldn't go back, she finally found me after what felt like eternity. We got in her car and she begged me to come back goodness knows how much I wanted to but I had made my mind up. After she failed convincing me she gave me my apartment keys and drove away.

Billie: gosh I was so heartbroken, she had broke my heart because she said that she didn't like me and that she was just experimenting. At the moment I had already caught feelings for her, so can you imagine liking someone who was just bicurious

Luke: gosh you were so ruthless, what made say that?

Elaine: I said that cause I was in denial of my feelings for her and her lying about her identity gave me a reason to cover up for my departure. I remember very well because when I went back inside Zara's house I sobbed.
