22: short notice

Billie's POV

I wake up and realise that Elaine is still sleeping and she looked pretty as fuck with her messy hair. I decide to quickly freshen up and make her something to eat. After freshening up I make her waffles and take them to her.

Billie: babe

Elaine: mmhmm

Billie: wake up I made you something to eat

Elaine: my body is so sore

Billie: I can kiss it better

Elaine: no can do, not after you bent my body in ways I didn't think were possible

I just chuckle, kiss her forehead and watch her eat.

Elaine: what you looking at?

Billie: my pretty girlfriend

Elaine: can I please eat in peace

Billie: (chuckle) you pretty thou

Elaine: (blushes) you want some?

Billie: no I'm fine

Elaine: (baby voice) pweaseee eat with me?

Billie: okay I'll take a waffle and go run you a bath

Elaine: okay

I take a waffle and go run her a bubble bath. After she's done eating she bathes. I go to take a charge in my drawer but I don't find it so I check in Elaine's drawer and find a box with my name on it. I open the box to find a black ring with my name engraved with daimonds on it and it had the pride flag on the inside. I didn't even notice Elaine coming back from the bathroom as I was so taken by the ring in my hand.

Elaine: that was so soothing...babe you okay?

Billie: yeah,why didn't I get this yesterday?

Elaine: what?

She comes around to where I was and I see her chock on her saliva.

Elaine: (sigh) I wanted to give it to you but then I felt like you deserve better

Billie: babe stop doing that to yourself

She just looks at me with her big drown eyes, water still dripping off her. I bit my lower lip and grab her by her waist and pull her closer to me. I then smash my lips against hers, she kisses me back. The towel she had wrapped her tiny body with falls on the ground.

Elaine's POV

I don't know how I fell for that trap of hers but I just can't resist her. We were now chilling in the couch watching TV.

Elaine: babe

Billie: mamas?

Elaine: I'm leaving tomorrow

She sits up straight and look me in the eyes.

Billie: tomorrow?

Elaine: yeah

Billie: when are you coming back?

Elaine: I'm not sure probably on the second or third week of Jan next year.

She turns away and takes the TV controller and change the channel. Knowing Billie I know she's upset so I turn her to face me and I can see her jaw clenched.

Elaine: babe please talk to me

Billie: what do you want me to say?

Elaine: anything please

She just sighs and runs her hands in her face.

Billie: I don't know what to say okay?

We just sit there awkwardly for about an hour then she gets a call.

Billie: I gotta go I'll see you later

She kisses my cheek and goes out. Gosh I feel so horrible, I know it's short notice but I didn't wanna upset her before her birthday. I just FaceTime Zara and Claudia since I was alone anyway

Zara: where have you been?

Claudia: (giggles) hey guys

Elaine: hey

Zara: so are you gonna tell us where you been?

Elaine: I've been here,doing some stuff

Claudia: woooo

Zara: so you did it?

Elaine: y-e-a-h

They both scream then I hear Finneas talking "what's going on" Claudia responds " I'm talking to Zara and Elaine. I then hear Billie talk in the background.

Zara: no wonder you're glowing but you look sad what's up? She's not good?

Elaine: oh hell nah my baby knows what she's doing

Claudia: so why the long face?

Elaine: cause she's upset with me

Zara: okay that went downwards really fast

Claudia: what happened?

Elaine: I told her I'm leaving tomorrow

Zara: yeah that is the shortest notice ever

Claudia: no wonder she's in bad spirits

Elaine: I don't know what to do

Claudia: try talking to her

Zara: yeah try talking to her

Elaine: (sigh) anyways what happened after we left the party

We spoke on FaceTime for hours. After talking to them I start preparing dinner cause it was already late. When I was done preparing dinner I call Billie.

Elaine: hey

Billie: hi

Elaine: I was just asking where you at?

Billie: I'm at the door

After she said that the door opened and she was carrying flowers. Not just any flowers daises my favourite, I smile then end the call.

Billie: hi

Elaine: hey

Billie: I got you these

She hands me the flowers. I take the flowers and put them down then hug her.

Elaine: I'm sorry

Billie: it's okay

We sit down and we stare at each other. We talk at the same time.

Billie: go first

Elaine: babe I'm sorry for telling you in such short notice. I know I should've told you a little earlier but I didn't wanna upset you before or on your birthday.

Billie: it's okay. I know how much you're looking forward to being with your family and it would be so selfish of me to stop you from doing that, but that means I won't be with you on your birthday and I really wanted to spend it with you.

Elaine: come with me then

Billie: I can't, we have to start preparing for tour.

Elaine: it's okay we'll FaceTime.

Billie: I love you

Elaine: I love you too, I made dinner.
