194: I know she's pretty

Billie's POV

I woke up early in the morning and freshened up and started making breakfast. Skylar came downstairs and she started eating.

Skylar: where's mommie?

Billie: she's sleeping

Then Aidan woke up crying, I went to his room and found him crying but he stopped when he saw me.

Billie: why are you crying? Come let mom change you

I changed his nappy and went with him downstairs and I found all his bottles empty. I made him some food but he wasn't feeling it he wanted to be breastfed. I put him down in his high chair and went to the master bedroom. When I got there I found Elaine sleeping peacefully, I felt bad because I had to wake her up so she can feed Aidan.

Billie: babe

She slowly open her eyes.

Elaine: hey

She responded with a raspy voice and I could tell that her nose were blocked.

Billie: baby are you okay?

Elaine: it's just a cold

I went to her to feel her temperature and it was sky rocket hot.

Billie: let me take you to a doctor

She shakes her head at me signalling that she doesn't want me to.

Billie: (sigh) baby stop being stubborn

Elaine: I'll be fine I promise, where are the kids?

Billie: Skylar is eating but Aidan doesn't want to eat, I actually came here because I wanted you to feed him but it's okay I'll try something else

Elaine: I'll pump it

Billie: thank you

She gets off bed and goes to the bathroom, then comes back with her hair tied up. She sits down on the bed and I sit across her in the little couch. She pumps and I can't help but stare at her and she also kept stealing glances at me.

Billie: Elaine

Elaine: huh?

Billie: I love you

She looks at me for a minute without answering me. I felt my heartbreak when she didn't answer me, after what felt like a decade she answered

Elaine: I love you too

Billie: then why are we constantly fighting, why are you letting people get in between us?

She keeps quiet for sometime like she's trying to process what I said.

Elaine: because I'm insecure okay? I'm scared Billie, I feel like I'm loosing you and I'm also loosing myself in the process. Billie you know I love you with every fibre in my body but sometime your actions make me want to doubt your love for me. I like to believe you love me too as much as I love you but you go around entertaining other girls in my presence. I know she's pretty but you didn't have to say it to my face that you like her.

Billie: (sigh) I'm sorry if I made you feel that way, to me it was just a silly dance. Elaine I don't like Daniella or any other girl besides you. Baby I'm sorry I never meant to make you feel like I don't love you anymore, I love you Elaine.

After she was done pumping she closed the bottle and gave it to me. I tried kissing her but she gently pushed me away. I went downstairs and I found Hannah already feeding Aidan the same food he refused to eat earlier.

Billie: Skylar let's go bathe so you can go to your grandma's

Skylar: but Mrs White is coming

Billie: you'll go with her at grandma's today

Skylar: (smile) okay

After they finished eating up and bathing I took them to their grandparents and gave Hannah a day off. I wanted to be alone with Elaine, I wanted to fix things.
