The Return....

Chapter 5

Hour and half later.

Leo started to wake up, he was looking around the room for nick and panicked when he didn't see him.

Leo: Nick..Nick.🥺Nick...
Erin: Hey munchkin..
Leo: mommy😁, when did you get here?
Erin: while you were sleeping.
Leo: where's nick?
Erin: I told Nick to go out and have fun.
Leo: can we go out and have fun?
Erin: yes, let's put clothes on you and we can head out. Sounds like a plan?
Leo: yup, what are we going to do?
Erin: well I got us special treat.
Leo: what is it... what is it?
Erin: I had a friend get us tickets to a game, at Wrigley field.
Leo: 😳😳 no way, you got us tickets to see the Chicago Cubs.
Erin: yes, I did and we get to meet some players before the game starts.
Leo:🥺😭 your the best mom ever, I love you so much.❤️
Erin: I love you too munchkin, let's head out so we can grab some food first then get to the game.

Erin helped Leo put his clothes on and the both headed out the door, once they got down to their car she told the driver to drop them off at Crosby's kitchen. She tried this restaurant once before when she lived here, but that was 8 years ago. Leo hopped out the car and grabbed ahold of Erin's hand, they walked across the street into the restaurant.  They set down at their table and waited for their waiter.

Waiter: Good evening, can I start you off with some drinks.
Erin: I'll take a sprite, do you want fruit punch?
Leo: yes please.
Erin: a sprite and fruit punch please.
Leo: do they have cheeseburgers here?
Erin: as a matter of fact they do and it come with fries 🍟.
Leo: Can I have that then?
Erin: yes, I will tell him when he comes back with our drinks. Hey I want to talk to you about something.
Waiter: here's you drinks, what can I get for you this evening?
Erin: two cheeseburgers with fries.
Waiter: I'll be back with that shortly.

Leo: what is it?
Erin: you remember when I left this afternoon.
Leo: Yea!
Erin: Well I had to meet with the commander that is over the Intelligence unit.
Leo: So grandpas boss.
Erin: Yea, they want to offer me grandpas job.
Leo: That's so cool mom.
Erin: That also means we would have to move here.👀
Leo: oh, can I think about it.
Erin: yea, but I have to tell them tomorrow.
Leo: Do you wanna move back here?
Erin: I don't know I miss it but I got you to think about.
Leo: what about nick, do we have to leave him too?
Erin: I was going to ask him if he wants to come with us.
Leo: okay, I'll tell you after the Cubs game.
Waiter: here's your 2 cheeseburgers and side of fries.
Leo: Thank you!
Erin: Thank you!

Erin and Leo ate their burgers and fries, when they were finished Erin asked Leo if he wanted dessert and he said "no".  The waiter came with the check and Erin paid for their food. Instead of calling for their car they decided to walk to the stadium, they were only 10 minutes away from the stadium 🏟.

Once they arrived at Wrigley field Leo started jumping for joy, he was so excited. Erin went to the gate and picked up their tickets as well as their field passes, they checked in and walk into the stadium 🏟.

Meanwhile the team had planned to meet at Molly's for the big game but, Jay agreed to host at his apartment. Jay was laying out all the snacks and drinks for the game. This was an important game, if the Cubs win they would punch their ticket to the World Series. They still have an hour before the game start, everyone was starting to arrive. Members from house 51 and members from Med was starting to arrive, everyone from Intelligence was already there.

Erin and Leo had just finish touring the stadium, now they were headed down to the field. Leo was so excited, his cheeks were so red from smiling. He and Erin walked onto the field and started talking to the players. Anthony Rizo offered to play pitch and catch with him.

Back at jays apartment they were watching the players warm up. Jay was offering everyone a beer 🍺. Everyone started talking until Hailey said to look at the tv.
