Chapter 55

The team then knocks the door down to find....

The man from earlier with his hands wrapped around Erin's neck. It didn't take long for Jay to jump into action. He ran across the bathroom yanking the man off of Erin. Kim and the rest of the ladies grabbed Erin and made sure she was okay while Jay and the guys took care of the man. The guys dragged him outside and beat this crap out of him, and left him for his friends to clean up.

"Next time a women ask you to leave her alone, leave her the fuck alone."

"I'm gonna press charges, on all of you!"

"Try and watch what happens you piece of crap!"

"Jay let's go, let's get the girls back to the house."

"Er, baby are you okay?"

"Yea, just a little shaken up. I'll be okay."

"Let's gets out of here!"

"Let's go!"

Everyone climbed into the van and said nothing. They may have started on a high note but they were definitely not ending on one. This was going to be a night they would never forget.

As they arrived home Will informed everyone to be quiet since the kids were likely asleep. So everyone quietly went their separate ways, but before separating Kim says "the bride and the groom can't see each other before the ceremony!"

"She's right! Will spoke up."

"I feel like me and Jay are not the traditional couple, so it shouldn't be a problem. Plus I want to end this night the only way I know how."

"Oh your guys are nasty, let's go guys!"

"I was talking about beer and Blackhawks! Get your head out the gutter Adam!"

"Well goodnight folks, and goodnight to the soon to be Mr and Mrs Halstead!!"

"Goodnight guys, and thank you all for tonight. Despite everything that happened, We had a great time!"

"We're glad you're okay Linds, now make sure you get your beauty sleep. We don't want Lindsay to be the only pretty one at the altar?"

"Hahaha very funny, get some sleep guys!"

Everyone split into the directions of their room, while Jay and Erin headed to the balcony. They wanted a last minute nightcap, and Jay wanted to make sure that Erin was actually okay after what happened. He knew she was good at hiding her feelings, and if he was about to commit to spending the rest of his life with her. He would have to start asking tough questions."

"So Er, how do you really feel?"

"Im still a bit shaken up, but I'm glad you where there to save me."

"I'll always be there to save you, we're about to be partners for life."

"I can't wait, thank you for checking on me! How are you feeling?"

"I was definitely scared, when those women said they heard you scream I panicked. Then I got to the door and I heard you scream, I nearly lost it. I lost it when I saw his hands on you. I mean no one, absolutely no one gets to put their hands on you."

"All that matters is that I'm okay, now let's go get sleep we got a big day tomorrow."

"As you wish Mrs.Halstead!"

Jay and Erin finally headed inside, and took a quick shower before they hopped in their bed. They are less than 12 hours away from saying their I do's.

9 hours later.....

The team was nursing very intense hangovers while the kids were in full action. Luckily for the parents they had grandpa there to help entertain the kids. Nadia had started making more than enough greasy food to combat their hangovers. All of the adults were sitting around the table drinking coffee while they waited for breakfast, and once it was ready Erin fixed the kids food first then Jays followed by the team and then hers. After about an hour later the team was already looking better, so they sent off the bride and ladies to one side of the house and the groom and his men to the other.
