3 weeks later....

Jay: How are they doing?
Will: Really good, Baby H is getting stronger every day. I think when we take Erin off the vent and she'll be able to breastfeed, and she'll gain more weight.
Jay: How much longer for Er.
Will: Actually, you might wanna get the team down here Nat and Crockett are gonna try to take her off the ventilator today.
Jay: Are you serious??
Natalie: Yea, I'll wait for everyone to get here.

Jay quickly sent off a text to the team telling them and asking to bring Leo to the hospital as well. 30 minutes later all of their closes friends and family members were now at the hospital ready to see an important part of their family finally wake up. The family gathered in Erin's room, Nat started off by turn the machines off one at a time to make sure Erin could still breathe on her own. After the last machine was turned off, if was up to Erin to wake up. 5 minutes went by, then 15 minutes, and then an hour had gon by.

Jay: She's gonna wake up bud, don't worry!
Leo: When, I wanna tell mom about my sister, and how I we won the World Series and I got the MVP award..
Erin: My munchkin, the future Cubs player!
Leo: MOMMYYY.... I missed you so much!
Erin: I missed you too munchkin, What's this about you winning the World Series.
Leo: That can wait till later, but my little sisters name can't.
Erin: I ....
Natalie: We had to deliver her early because her heart and O2 rate was getting dangerously low. We managed to deliver her a 27 weeks, and she weighed 2 lb and 14.4 inches long. Your little fighter is currently weighing 4.9lb and 14.8 in long.
Jay: Our girl has an appetite like her momma!
Will: Geez Jay, she just woke up.
Erin: He's not lying, I've been a vent for what a month and I'm starving.
Natalie: The cafet.....
Erin: Don't finish that statement, can someone please get me the greasiest double cheeseburger with large Fry and sprite.
Kevin: I gotchu, I'll brb. When I come back my niece better have a name too.
Erin+Jay: We definitely will!
Kim: We'll take Leo down to the cafe for some ice cream.
Erin: Umm.. How about everyone write a name down on a piece of paper, and this will help us pick Baby H name.
Leo: Can I do one too?
Jay: of course!

Each member of the team wrote down a name and placed it into a scrub cap, they had to wait for Kevin to get back so he could also be included. Kevin returned 10 minutes later with a double cheeseburger, large fry and sprite.

Erin: Hey Kev, everyone wrote a name down on a piece of paper to name Baby H. Your the only one left.
Kevin: Hmm... okay I got one!!
Erin: Leo do you wanna pull 2 names from the hat?
Leo: Cool, Okay The first name is Chloe.
Erin: I love that name!
Will: Your Welcome!
Jay: Not bad will, it super cute. What's her middle name going to be Leo?
Leo: Her middle name is Camille, is that like grandma Cami?
Erin: Yea, just like grandma Cami!
April: Knock knock... I have a very special little visitor for you all. Baby H wanted to come see her enormous family.

Will: Baby H has a name now..

Erin+Jay: Chloe Camille Lindsay-Halstead

April: That is beautiful guys, Chloe Camille meet your amazing family!
Erin: She's so small, but beautiful!
Natalie: She has grown a whole lot in 3 weeks, but once you start breastfeeding she will get bigger.
Erin: Can I hold her?
April: Yea, just let me get her closer to the bed.

April moved closer to the bed, and picked baby Chloe up and headed her to her mom. At first she let let out a little whimper but then she snuggled right into her chest. The team aww'd in unison, while Leo shed a few tears. Jay pulled Leo into a bear hug and told him " you get the privilege of protecting that little girl for the rest of your life." Baby Chloe starts to get fussy and hungry, so Natalie and April tells everyone that visiting hours are now over. Leo was allowed to stay later because he was going home with Will and Natalie later.

Everyone said the goodbyes, and congratulations before heading out. Jay decided to take Leo on a walk around the hospital, before settling at a near table.

Jay: I wanna talk to you about something?
Leo: What's up daddy?
Jay: Do you remember last year when me and you went out for our guy day?
Leo: Yea, and we should definitely do that again!
Jay: We will, but I think next time I want to bring you mom, and Chloe up to our family cabin.
Leo: We have a family cabin?
Jay: Yea bud, big lake and a nice trails.
Leo: That's so cool, so what did you wanna talk about?
Jay: Right, so I was gonna do this in a few weeks but since Chloe was born early I decided to push up the time line.
Leo: Do wha.... Are you go....
Jay: I wanna ask your mom to marry me!
Leo: Yes, OH MY GOSH I CANT BELIEVE THIS!
Will: What are you so hyped about leo?
Leo: DADS GONNA ASK MOM TO MARRY HIM!!!
Will: Ayy congrats!!!
Jay: She hasn't said yes yet.
Will: Like Erin would ever tell you no, she's ready to spend the rest of her life with you.
Jay: You really thinks so?
Leo: Duhh daddy, she always tells me she wants to have the same last name as us. She wants us to be a family.
Will: So, what's the plan?
Jay: Well my plan has Chloe included. I got it, don't they do baby pictures here?
Will: Yea, I got a guy you could play the photographer.
Jay: I just have to let the team know, so they can be here also. Oh Can you swing by the house and pick a few things up for me?
Will: Of course, just make a list and where it might be at. Me and Nat get to off in 30 minutes, so you should pack your things up we're leaving soon.
Leo: Okay, Can I go say goodnight to mom and Chloe?
Jay: Yea, you know where her room is right?
Leo: yes sir.
Jay: okay, we'll meet you down there in a sec...

Jay wrote down everything he wanted Will to grab, and thanked him for taking Leo for the night. Will of course said it was no problem, and they both walked back to the room.

Leo: Hey mama!
Erin: Hey munchkin!
Leo: Is Chloe sleep?
Erin: Not yet, I think she was waiting up to meet her big brother. Come sit by me.
Leo: Is it safe, I don't want to hurt her?
Erin: I'll help you, just snuggle into my side like we do at home and I'll place her in your arms.
Leo: okay!! Is this good?
Erin: yup, so your gonna need to support her head and neck.
Leo: like this?
Erin: perfect, she already loves you munchkin.
Leo: I already love her too!
Erin: Munchkin I know we haven't talked about it yet, but I am so sorry about what happened a few weeks ago. I should've protected you and your sister better.
Leo: Me and Chloe are fine, it was really scary but I'm happy you both are okay.
Erin: Me too!
Will: Alright Leo the great are you ready to head out?
Leo: Yea, Goodnight momma, Goodnight Chloe, Goodnight daddy Love you!
Erin: Goodnight and I love you too munchkin.
Jay: Goodnight bud love you!

Jay: How do you feel?
Erin: Surprisingly not bad, I slept though most of my pain.
Jay: It's good to see you both doing much better I can tell you that. Our little girl is a fighter.
Erin: She's got our DNA, You thought she wouldn't be a fighter. How's Nadia doing?
Jay: She's good, we found her tied up in a boarded up room. She said he didn't do anything to her.
Erin: Apparently he wanted me, he almost killed both of our kids.
Jay: That's the past now Er, both of our kids are healthy and happy. He's gone, when Liv left they took him with them. Liv said he due back in court soon, there going to keep him in solitary confinement.
Erin: That monster needs the dead penalty, he has only ever caused pain why does he get to live.
Jay: I don't know, but we can't play judge, jury and executioner. Let's focus on that amazing little princess in front of you.
Erin: She is amazing....
April: Hey guys, I'm here to take back up to the NICU. I'll bring Miss Chloe back in the morning.
Erin: Thank you!
Jay: Thanks!
April: Anything for the Royal Halstead family. 
Erin: oh whatever, but seriously thanks for everything!
April: Let me know if you need anything, and I'll see you in the morning.....
Jay: I'll grab my pillow and blanket..
Erin: Where do you sleep?
Jay: Well I have been sleeping on the couch.
Erin: Yea, not anymore your sharing the bed with me.
Jay: Are you sure, I don't mine taking the couch?
Erin: I haven't slept in you arms in almost a month, get your ass over here.
Jay: Yes ma'am! I've missed you in my arms too.
Erin: Goodnight Baby daddy!
Jay: Goodnight Baby mama!
Erin: Nope, I don't like that name for me, pick something else.
Jay: Tonight Baby mama tomorrow I'll come up with a new name.
Erin: Deal.......
