Charlie: well if it isn't my girl.......
Erin: I'm not your girl! Let my son go.
Charlie: Me and Leo here was just talking, isn't that right Leo?
Leo: Help me Mommy!🥺
Erin: Charlie, what hell do you even want with him. He's just a kid let him go.
Charlie: See that's the thing Erin he's not just a kid he's your kid.
Erin: Your right he's my kid and I will do what is necessary to protect him. So I won't say it again let him go!
Charlie: You wouldn't shoot your first love now would you? That sounds more like Hank than you, where is he right now? Oh That's right he dead, now that the big bad sergeant is gone who's gonna have your back now?

Jay snuck up behind Charlie, he was ushering the people around them to move quickly. When he finally got behind Charlie he held a gun to his back.

Jay: Let my son go or they will be scraping pieces of your body off the concrete.
Charlie: I see you had a kid with the toy soldier.
Erin: Are you okay munchkin?
Leo: I wanna get out of here!
Erin: We will, Antonio put him in the cage.
Charlie: I need to speak to someone in charge, I'm not going back to prison.
Erin: Charlie pugliese your under arrest for aggravated assault, murder, and the attempt kidnapping of a sergeant son.
Charlie: Sergeant kid!!
Erin: I'm the New Sergeant, and I won't be making any deals. Jay let's take Leo home, we can deal with him in the morning.
Charlie: I'm the least of your worries Erin, She's coming back..... Bunny's coming back........
Erin:😳😳😳

After that statement it felt like the whole world had caved in on her. Not only was Charlie back but now bunny would soon be returning too. It also doesn't help that Leo will now be traumatized for the next few weeks as well. Jay brought Erin and Leo home, Leo wasn't really in the mood for food so he just went to his room. Erin and Jay just laid out on the couch in the living room.

Jay: Are we sure he telling the truth about Bunny?
Erin: I honestly don't even know, I just want to focus Leo, you and me.
Jay: I can agree with that, but for now we're not letting him out of our sight. Either me or you will take him wherever he needs to go.
Erin: Agreed, can we talk about something else for now.
Jay: Sure, what's on your mind?
Erin: Leo told me last night he wants a brother or sister.
Jay:😳 How did this conversation come about?
Erin: Last night when you went out me and Leo watched boss baby, I guess he saw the boy in the movie had a sibling. He wants to be a big brother.
Jay: What did you tell?
Erin: That I would talk to you about it, how do you feel about it?
Jay: I mean of course I want to have more kids, especially with you...
Erin: I sense a but, in there.
Jay: But we're not married or engaged.
Erin: were we married or engaged when I had Leo?
Jay: No, but that's because I didn't know.
Erin: I know, but we don't have to go in order we can have a baby first engagement second and wedding last.
Jay: Are you sure your okay with that?
Erin: I'm already spending the rest of my life with you, I don't need a ring and a piece of paper to tell me that I want to grow old with you.
Jay: Then it's settled, we will start trying for Halstead baby #2.
Leo: mom... mommyyy.....
Erin: Looks like we won't be starting tonight, come on let's go check our other baby.

Leo had a bad dream and wanted to be in the comforts of his parents. He did tell his parents that he saw Charlie before he went to the concession stand but he wasn't sure if it was him. When he came back he was gone, he blamed himself, but jay quickly jumped in and told him it wasn't his fault. Both Erin and Jay kept reiterating that Charlie is away, and that he won't be bothering them for a while. That was comforting to from his parents, and it helped him sleep a whole lot better.

The next morning.......

Leo wasn't ready to go back to school so he came to the district. He stayed at the front desk with Trudy but he would occasionally go check on his parents. They didn't need to interview Charlie witnesses have Identified Charlie as being the assailant, and the suspect. Charlie was sent before the judge to get his court date before being sent to prison. Erin sent the case to homicide so they could seal the case, and with Erin past with the suspect she wanted to stay far from it. They spent the rest of their day doing paper work.

Adam: How about when we get off we head to Molly's?
Jay: I'm going home to my girl and kid, so I'm out.
Erin: You heard him!.
Kim: I'm in!
Nadia+Mouse: We're in!
Nick: yea I can go a few rounds.
Kevin +Antonio: we'll be there.
Erin: once your done with paperwork your free to go.

After the team finished their paperwork, they headed out to Molly's. Erin packed up her things before her jay and Leo headed out.

Jay: How does pizza sound for dinner?
Leo: Can I sleep at uncle wills house?
Erin: How come?
Leo: I just want to hang out with Owen.
Jay: Sure, I'll call and ask can you go over.
Leo: Okay!

Jay: Hey Leo asked if he could spend the night by you. Is that okay?
Will: Yea, I don't have to work tomorrow so that's fine. I'll scoop him up when I get off work in 30 minutes.
Jay: Alright thank you! Leo, Will said yes and he will scoop you up when he gets off his shift in 30 minutes.
Erin: Remember it's still a school night, Will is going to drop you off in the morning and make sure you bring your backpack and uniform.
Leo: Okay!
Jay: Try to go to sleep at a decent hour.
Leo: Okay!

Will arrived at the house, and Leo was already waiting. He grabbed his bags and headed straight out the door, but Will called and told him to go say goodnight to his parents. Leo quickly ran back and gave both parents a kiss and a hug and then bolted.

Jay: Well I guess we get to spend time together. what do you wanna do?
Erin: Food first, and then we can go practice what we talked about.
Jay:☺️ can we skip to that and then eat.
Erin: nope food first, I don't have enough energy yet.
Jay: Fine let's get some tacos.
Erin: Now that sounds amazing.

After getting more than enough tacos we know how Erin and jay spent the rest of their night😉.

Over the next month Erin and Jay tried pretty much everything they could do to get pregnant but wasn't haven't such luck. Jay suggested that they take a break and just have fun. It was to much work trying to force it, and Erin agreed. On weekends that Leo wanted to sleep at Will's house they would have a romantic evening. They started doing the things they didn't do the first time around, like going on dates, putting time on the side for them, mini vacation. They started becoming the family, they wanted when they were growing up.

A month later.......

Leo and his team had been practicing for the last month and a half, their season was getting ready to start. His first game was tomorrow, he was a little nervous but excited. The intelligence unit had promised they'd all be their for his first game.

Mouse had been monitoring all avenues of media to see if Bunny was in Chicago. So far Bunny wasn't in Chicago or near Chicago. Erin and jay didn't have to look over their backs. Life was good at the moment, the team was doing an amazing job at solving and closing cases. Leo was finally nightmare free, doing amazing in school, and his mom had a major surprise for him and his dad. Erin wanted to wait till after Leo's first game to give them their surprise..........
