Erin: I.. I..I'm pregnant........
Brett: 😳😳, Gabby step on it!
Gabby: We're 5 minutes out, How's she doing?
Brett: She's good but, she needs an ultrasound, she's pregnant!
Gabby: We'll be at med in 3 minutes, I'll tell Will when we get there.

Back at the scene.....

Antonio: Kelly, what happened?
Kelly: We're not sure, witnesses say jay and Erin had the green light and the other car plowed into them.
Antonio: Where is the other driver?
Kelly: She's in route to med as well, but your not gonna like it when you find out who the driver was. Get to med, and check on Jay, Erin, and Leo.
Antonio: okay I will. Adam get the footage from that traffic light. Everyone else can head to med, the suspect is there?
Nick: Do we know who the suspect is?
Antonio: Umm no not yet, but we will soon.

Kelly and his team finished clearing up the accident before head to Chicago med. The Lindsay/ Halstead family was like family to firehouse 51. So they have to check on their own.

Gabby: Hey Will, jay and Leo are in the next ambulance.
Will: okay would do we got?
Brett: possible hip fracture, trauma to the head, she also seized at the scene, and she's pregnant. She hasn't told Jay yet so don't say anything yet.
Will: okay, we're going to trauma bay 1, Nat you take over here.
Josh: I have a minor and his parent. Minor has a fractured arm, adult has a broken leg.
Will: okay, Dr.Choi, can you take Jay and I take Leo.
Dr. Choi: No problem. Jay Im gonna do a quick work up then take you up for X-rays.
Jay: Okay, How's Erin?
Dr.Choi: Nat is taking care of her, so she's in good hands.
Patsy: I have the suspect from the crash.
Maggie: 😳😳😳Trauma bay 5, Dr. Crockett you take this one.
Dr. Crockett: got it, April can you draw blood for a drug screening. I need to see if she's on anything.
April: Sure, isn't that..
Maggie: Yes it is, now go draw blood.

Erin: 🥺How's the baby?
Nat: Let's see, this will be a little cold.

Erin squeezed her eyes so tight, she really didn't want to hear that her unborn child was already gone. She hadn't even told Jay or Leo that they were expecting a baby.Nat spread the get over Erin's lower abdomen, at first it wasn't looking hopeful. That was until baby Halstead's heartbeat graced the room.

Erin: 🥺😭😭
Nat: Baby Halstead is perfectly fine, baby has. A strong heartbeat 💓. Now let's get a X-ray of your hip and then a Ct of your head.
Erin: Okay, How's Leo and Jay!
Nat: while they do the X-ray I'll go check on them.
Erin: Thank you!

Nat left the room and first she stopped by Leo, Will said he fractured his arm. He only needs a sling, it was a minor fracture. He should be fine in a few weeks. Next she went to check on Jay, Dr.Choi said he had a broken leg, and that would require surgery. She came back and gave Erin an update before she was rolled to CT.

After about an hour both jay and Erin were heading into surgery. One of the nurses assumed Leo had no family and called DCFS. The worker came in to the hospital ready to take Leo until Will stepped in. By Will being his blood uncle they didn't take him, but he ended staying with mouse and Nadia since he was still currently working.

A couple hours later both Erin and Jay made it through a successful surgery. They are both sitting in post op waiting to be moved to recovery. Dr.Goodwin made an exception and allowed jay and Erin to share a room together. Erin was brought into the room first so Natalie could do another ultrasound to make sure baby Halstead was okay. Jay was then rolled into the room, he was still sleep.

Erin: Jay.... Jay.. babe wake up!
Jay: Er....
Erin: How are you feeling?
Jay: My leg hurts, How are you?
Erin: Not to bad my hip hurts like hell though. How was Leo doing?
Jay: If I remember correctly he only needed a sling, he had a small fracture in his arm.
Will: How's my favorite family doing?
Erin: We're doing okay, just a little pain.
Will: only a little, you just had pins inserted into your hip. I know about your history so I will only give you Tylenol. It shouldn't affect your body😉.
Erin: okay that's great Thank you will.
Jay: I have pain but I can manage, can you go get Leo for us.
Will: That I can do.

Will left the room and headed down to the waiting room. Leo was stretched across Nadia's leg in full slumber. Will lightly tapped his shoulder to wake him up.

Will: There's 2 people who would really like to see you now.
Leo: 😳😁 Mom and dad!
Will: Yup, that really wanna see you.

Leo went running down the hallway looking for his parents, when he finally found their room he ran straight to Erin. Leo's a mommas boy so Jay took no offense, cause he would've done the same thing. After he gave Erin a hug he went to give Jay one as well.

Jay: How are you feeling bud?
Leo: I'm okay, how are you and mom doing?
Erin: I'm doing okay.
Jay: I'm doing good also.
Leo: How long will you both be in the hospital.
Will: jay can leave tomorrow if he's stable and the doctor clears him, but your mom will be here at least a week. So you can either stay at my house or with Nadia and mouse.
Leo: Okay, can I stay with you?
Will: Yea, That's fine, you can hang out with me and Owen. Well tell your parent Goodnight, we're heading out in a little bit.
Leo: Goodnight mom and dad, we'll see you tomorrow! Love you!
Erin: Love you too munchkin see you in the morning!
Jay: love you too bud, see ya in the morning.

Will and Leo leaves the room, Jay and Erin start talking to each other. Before they went to bed Erin tells Jay "We need to talk"...

Back in the ED the suspect had also needed emergency surgery. The team was waiting to talk to the suspect, right now some officers are monitoring the room that the suspect is in.

Antonio: Dr. Choi is the suspect woke yet?
Dr. Choi: yes she is, and I'm really sorry about this next part.
Antonio: what part?
Dr.Choi: This....
Antonio: It was you? Your the driver of the other car....
Suspect: yea, Well I was driving till the Bitch in the other car hit me.
Antonio: No you caused the accident, what was her blood alcohol level?
Dr.Choi: when she was admitted her level was .45.
Antonio: That's almost 6 times the legal limit. Do you even care about who you hit?
Suspect: That car hit me! Where is she cause I'm gonna sue?
Antonio: Your fucking unbelievable, Barbara fletcher (Bunny) Your under arrest for driving while highly intoxicated. These officers here will read you your rights. I'm gonna go inform the team on who our suspect is.
Dr.Choi: I'll make sure she ready for transportation when I get the all clear.
Antonio: Thanks!
