" NOT EDITED SORRY"

A few days before Mother's Day.....

After Jay had picked Leo up from school, they headed to grab some pizza for the team. While riding in the car Jay felt it was a good time to discuss what they should do for Mother's Day.

Jay: So Mother's Day is almost here, what should do for mom?
Leo: I don't know, I don't think she's gonna wanna go anywhere.
Jay: yea the baby has been making her extra tired, we should do something to make her feel better.
Leo: What if we give her a massage, we could buy the stuff they use at the spa. Can we do breakfast in bed too?
Jay: I think she would love that. Since we're off tomorrow, how about we go buy everything we will need to make this an extra special Day for mom.
Leo: we have to go really early, when mom is still sleep.
Jay: okay!
Leo: Mom also like the lotion and body wash from Victoria secrets, so maybe we can get her some!
Jay: Yea, I think I can do that for her.

After Jay and Leo picked up the pizza they headed back to the district. They walked in the district to see the patrolman scattering, Jay walk up to Trudy and asked what was going on. Trudy told him there was an active shooter and hostage situation happening at the Federal bank, Jay and Leo quickly went upstairs. Jay set Leo up in the break room before heading to the bullpen. The team caught him up on the situation, and they started working. The team left an headed down to the scene, 3 suspects and 20 hostages, and 2 injured. Intelligence and SWAT  are now on the scene. Erin will now take over the scene, she orders the SWAT to stand down, and She told Jay to go across to street and set up as a sniper. While Erin was directing her team, the SWAT team leader also sent 2 members of his team to set up as snipers too. Erin decided to call into the bank, 1 of the three suspects answered the phone.

Suspect: Who am I speaking too?
Erin: Sergeant Erin Lindsay, who am I speaking to?
Suspect: Josh Beckett!
Suspect 2: Why the hell did you tell her your name?
Suspect: shit!
Erin: Josh calm down, I want this to be over as quickly as possible! Tell me what do you want?
Suspect: We will need and exit out of here, and  a helicopter waiting.
Erin: Okay, but it will take some time getting the helicopter. Can you release any injured people?
Suspect: we'll leave them at the door.

The suspect started moving the injured people, the SWAT leader gave his man an order to take the shot if they had a clear one. A shot was fired but it missed the suspect and hit one of the victims, Erin ordered her team to move in. They were able to apprehend the three suspects, but when Erin got inside she noticed a woman laying on the ground with arms around a kid.

Erin: I NEED A AMBO IN HERE NOW!
Victim: Please take my son, I don't want him to see me like this!
Erin: Your gonna be fine, my friends are paramedics they are gonna help you, hey stay awake, here they come now. I will watch your boy for you, what's his name?
Victim: Jackson, he's 7 and a little shy.
Erin: my kid is shy too, I guess it's a boy thing.
Brett: We gotta get her in the ambo, we'll take her to med.
Erin: I'll take Jackson back to the station with us, but first I need to speak to whoever gave that fucking order.
Adam: That would be the SWAT leader, he said take the shot.

Erin approached the SWAT leader and asked to speak to him. After about 20 minutes behind a closed door, an emotionally drained Erin came out and grabbed Jackson. Jay drove Erin and Jackson back to the district. When Erin got back to the district Leo was sleep in Erin's office, but when Erin walked in he woke up.

Erin: Hey buddy!
Leo: Hey momma!
Erin: I have a little friend here, his name is Jackson. He's gonna hang with us till his momma gets better.
Leo: I have my game with me, do you wanna play with me.
Jackson: Yea!

Jackson and Leo went and played in the break room while the team finished their paperwork. Once they were finished Erin told the team that they had the next 2 days off, the will report back on the Monday after Mother's Day.
