Although the blasting pop music and the cheering of students enthrall the people around him, Kuroko cannot help but reminisce on his encounter with you earlier today. Your appearance, despite it never NOT being breath-taking, seemed dull. You've been worked to the bone on several occasions, but your outward mental state had never suffered.

Something is wrong, and he can't pinpoint it just yet.

"Aw Tetsu-kun!" Momoi gushes as she holds his arm tightly. "You must be so proud of [Name]-chan! The festival is so amazing!"

Her comment boosts his already smoldering pride of you. Amidst your demons, you perform the best you can and it always produces amazing results. From the delicious food to the happy students enjoying their time in each event, you've more than outdone yourself with the festival.

He watches you from afar. You stand in the corner of the stage overseeing the MC conduct the contest of the most handsome and beautiful girls. Due to the school being all girls, they decided to add a mix of superlatives to provide more categories for people to enter. It adds comedic relief for the most part, and the audience gobbles it up.

"Heh," Aomine nudges Kuroko, "your girlfriend still stands out from all the contestants and she's not even in it."

The accuracy of his statement brings a wave of anxiety, and it returns his thoughts to the concern he holds for you. Again, he loses himself in reflection until the contest ends where he begins to hear some murmurs around him.

"I wish I was as pretty as her," a random girl sighs. "I'd be able to get Ikeda-sensei to notice me."

"I know!" Her friend lets out a groan. "There's even rumors that Ikeda-sensei already found a girlfriend here. I bet it's her! After all, they do spend a lot of time together in the basketball club and the festival committee."

"He even calls her by her first name."

The girls' conversation continues on, but the alarm has already made its mark in his heart. His friends send him a wary stare, but it's Momoi that provides reassurance. "I'm sure they're wrong. If there is something we all know about [Name]-chan, it's that she doesn't like boys except Tetsu-kun!"

Her words deliver some relief to his heart, and the rest of the group follows with Kise being the first to jump in. "I'm sure it's just the guy hitting on her 24/7 and her not giving him the light of day."

Aomine gives his agreement on the matter. "Yeah, remember how she vomited that one time Haizaki gave her a compliment. That loser couldn't even get mad cause the captain socked him right in the face."

"She only shared her snacks with Kuroko," Murasakibara lulls out, "I was always jealous."

Kuroko sends them all an appreciative smile. Even though he found their company unwanted today, he is glad they attended the festival. At the sound of his phone's ringtone, he glances down at to view the new message.

'I'm putting things away in the third floor AV room. Let's meet up at the 3-1 classroom?'

Kuroko answers swiftly, confirming the details of his reunion with you. "Let's go see her classroom's exhibition."

The bustling hallway of students does little to conceal your absence. With you nowhere in sight, Aomine shows his contempt of the situation. "You're telling me she never was here?"

His aggression frightens the girls in your classroom, all but one, who stares with great admiration. Kuroko recognizes the girl and tries to demand some answers from her. "You're Aya, right?"

Aya's optics wander around until they fall onto him. "Ohhhh, Kuroko!" She shuffles past the group of girls and tables to stand before the Generation of Miracles. Her eyes marvel at them, Aomine especially, before responding. "What's up?"

"We're looking for [Name]," Midorima speaks up. "She made an appointment with us at this cafe."

"She made an appointment with me," Kuroko corrects the bespectacled boy.

Aya peers around for any sign of you. "She hasn't shown up yet, and it isn't like her to miss the chance to be with her boyfriend..."

Before she can finish, Yuuka stomps into the classroom with rosy cheeks and sore eyes. It's clear she's been crying for a bit and she stares at Aya with profound regret. "I'm such a bad friend!"

Aya does a double-take. Although they haven't spoken much since Yuuka tried to beautify herself-- well it was more of Yuuka being all secretive and short-tempered, but Aya does not want to admit to such a thing-- she worries for the girl before her.

"W-What happened?" Aya tries to comfort her friend despite the awkward stares she receives. "You want to talk about it elsewhere?... Oh, and[Name]'s friends are here too. They're trying to find her."

Yuuka sniffles and when her eyes meet Kuroko's, her face blanches. He notices guilt wash over her expression, but she looks away quickly, forming an odd atmosphere and causing Kuroko to become more desperate to know where you are. "She said she was going to be in the AV room on the third floor here but never showed up."

Once the information registers in Yuuka's brain, a sheer look of horror flashes. "And she never returned?" He shakes his head. "Oh... Oh no..."

Yuuka turns on her heel and rushes out the classroom. Kuroko does not hesitate in following and neither do any of his friends. Wordlessly, they trail right behind her until they reach a deserted corridor. The sound of crashing desks announces a clue to where you could be, and they venture forward in the direction of the noise.

Before Yuuka can even slide the door open, Kuroko cuts in front of her to open the classroom. Horror fills his expression at the sight before him. There you lay on the floor crying with a handkerchief in your mouth and a belt tying your hands together. Bruises litter your legs where your skirt is halfway through your thighs. Your school blouse is wide open for all to see your disheveled bra. Meanwhile, your teacher appears to be forcing you down, his hands bunched up under your bra while the other sustains him on top of you.

You attempt to scream for help when you hear the door open, but you cannot see who stands there. At the sight of several hair colors, you realize that they've arrived just in time.

"GET OFF OF HER!"

[A/N]: I really didn't like the last cliffhanger, so quick update to cover it. We are almost at the end of the second arc of the story, and man oh man, do I love this third arc coming up. You might hate it though cause the reader makes poor choices but that's how people grow.

Also moral of this chapter: always let people know where you'll be and surround yourself with people that care if you are late to something.
