You can feel your nerves fast at work. As you enter the bustling stadium, you search for the nearest entrance to the seating area. You were somewhat late to the game, having only just awakened from your nap. Unfortunately, a twenty-minute nap turned into a  two-hour nap which in turn destroyed your designated time to get ready.

As ashamed as you were about your blunder, you quickly tried your best to compensate and power through. Your hair wasn't exactly ideal, especially with all the wind blowing outside, but it would have to do. Your main priority right now is to watch Kuroko crush Akashi's team.

"Excuse me, do you need help?" you hear someone ask from behind you. Their deep voice causes you to flinch and you hesitantly turn around to face them.

"A-Ah, no. I just need to head inside."

They block your path and speak up with a little more gusto. "I can help you with that."

Your eyes widen with terror and it's now you begin to take note of their appearance. White jersey with blue details, short buzzed hair and stern eyes. You can only guess they were another basketball player motivated by testosterone.

"Please excuse me--"

"Yeah, you should leave her alone. She looks scared," his teammate says from afar. The others around him chuckle, and you can't help but feel as if they're laughing at you.

"You need a lot better game to get a girl like that. I'm sure she's a model!" one of them hollers out. "Isn't that right, Kise?"

You pause at the sound of that name. You vividly recall the new recruit in Teiko, the blonde with a dark personality masked by optimism. When you glance around to spot the group of boys, you spot him instantly.

Sporting a gloomy and uninterested expression, you can tell he was currently in his own world. They probably had lost only moments before and were desperate for some form of entertainment. Kise, however, only appeared to want to go home.

For some reason, this version of Kise is one you much preferred and you call out to him. "K-Kise!"

The boy looks up from the floor and it takes him a small while to register who you are. "Senpai..." He is finally out of his saddened state and walks up to you with cautious steps. "Don't tell me my teammates were bothering you."

"Um..."

"Leave it to Kise to know the other model," one of his teammates groan.

"She's my senpai from middle school," Kise corrects them with little energy as he inspects your form. As much as you hate to be viewed like that, you notice it isn't done in a disrespectful manner. In fact, once he finishes, he begins to recite his findings. "You're here for the match."

You breathe out a sigh of relief. "Yes. I want the best seat to see Seirin."

"You'll have to go to G seating then."

You bow your head profusely. "Thank you." With that, you run off with the intent to procure the best seat.

As you leave them, you can hear the last of their conversation.

"She seems nice. Maybe I could have scored a date with her..."

"She's scared of guys, you wouldn't have a chance," Kise sighs.

You make your way towards G seating area with little resistance. More people are currently interested in Rakuzen and were fighting for a premium spot to spectate. With Seirin being the most obscure team, you are able to secure a seat not far from the railing.

You gaze around the court, the game having just started a few minutes ago, and notice Kuroko on the bench. Tilting your head, you recall him having a prime spot on the team. Although confused, you stay seated and patiently watch the entirety of the game.

A/N: I promise a longer chapter in the next update. AND IT'S GOING TO CHANGE EVERYTHING IN THE STORY //hopefully. Just a little transition scene with Kise and then we'll be on a happier rollercoaster.
