A/N: Here we gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Almost at the turning point!

School is but a forgotten aspect of your life. You remain in bed all night, drowning in tears. You heard Nijimura leave in a huff earlier in the morning, probably hoping to calm down with the day's affairs.

But even if he returns in a state of forgiveness, you have come to the realization of something important: you didn't want to do this anymore with Nijimura. It was wrong of you to even engage in such a relationship with him. As much you love him, nothing in this world compares to what you shared with Kuroko. You just wish you realized it before you made the worst decision of your life.

It was as if your love for Nijimura, despite it being dormant for years, has been replaced by Kuroko's love.

With one last look in the mirror, you depart for the station where you take the train back home, eager to fight for a relationship that was once yours.

You finally arrive home late into the evening. It was the only train available at such short notice, forcing you to wait around at the station before embarking. Nijimura hadn't texted you, and you assume that he wanted nothing to do with you anymore.

You've broken his heart due to your selfishness, and you feel as if your heart will tear into pieces with guilt.

However, your only comfort still prevails, and the thought of seeing the love of your life brings some energy into your body. You head in the direction of Seirin High as you recall his basketball schedule. Kuroko is supposed to be finishing up practice right about now, and you hope that to be the case. It's been a while since you've last spoken to him, especially since you lost his phone number when transferring phones.

When you make it to the school, you can hear the sounds of sneakers skidding against the basketball floor. Nostalgia enters your body and freezes your system. You feel locked into place as the gravity of what you had lost befalls you.

You remember the days hanging out with Kuroko in the gymnasium during both middle and high school. How he'd shower you with positive energy and love. His smile always greeted you when his eyes landed on you. His hand always felt as if it cherished yours whenever he held it, as if no one else mattered except you.

Careful, gentle love. That is how you'd describe your relationship with him, and you wonder just why such an ugly person like yourself thought you still deserved him.

The thought paralyzes you and you remain by the school entrance with a lack of motive.

Whispers of the beautiful senpai waiting by the school entrance reach Kuroko's ears. Although he knows the chances are infinitely small, he hurries changing back into his school uniform in hopes of seeing you.

When he states his goodbyes to his team, he heads to the gate as his heart beats with anticipation. He knows his desires are futile, but at the sight of you standing there, his elation soars. Yet the happiness is short-lived as his brain recalls his trauma.

You spot his appearance and rush over to him, landing straight into his chest. "T-Tetsuya!" you exclaim into his shirt as you hold him tight.

It's everything he's dreamed of, but he knows that it will be nothing more than a spiteful dream. He watches as you come undone before him, silently gauging on what to do. When he notices some of his teammates leaving, he decides on a course of action.
