[H.37] High School: Diary Entry Thirty-Seven

Eyes wide and teeth clenched, Kuroko surges forward to grab Ikeda-sensei off of you. The force is enough to put the man on his ass beside you. As much as Kuroko would like to hurt the man, he needs to identify if there was any damage. He needs to find out if you are hurt.

Hastily, he retrieves the gag from your mouth and out spills your screaming sobs. "K-K-KUROKO HELP! HELP ME! HE WANTS TO RAPE ME! I-I-.. AHHH!" You can't stop heaving and sobbing, you're completely distraught at what had transpired. Your hands grab onto his shirt as you pull him close to you to cover your violated body.

Tears pinch his eye ducts, but he remains stoic as he glares at the teacher, who is attempting to leave the room. However, Murasakibara remains at the entrance with a monstrous aura. So does Aomine, Midorima, and Kise while the girls watch in horror.

"Aya," Kuroko calls out, "get a teacher. Grab as much help as you can." The girl nods her head and sprints away as quickly as possible.

"H-Hey. This isn't rape, she wanted it," Ikeda-sensei tries to defend himself. He waves his hands around in an attempt to lighten the situation. "She's into dirty stuff and now that she got caught, she's trying to get me into trouble. Come on, you're her boyfriend. You know how rough she likes it--"

WHAM

Aomine lands a good punch on the man's face, causing him to fall right back down. "You piece of shit!" Instinctively, he starts kicking the man in the abdomen with Kise joining, and it takes Momoi and Midorima to hold  them back from killing your teacher, who appears half recognizable with his blackening eye. 

Finally, when enough people arrive, the gravity of the situation befalls all and the festival cancelled.

"Are you sure you didn't know about it?" your father questions Kuroko. A day has passed since the attempted rape, and you remain chained to your room. Kuroko arrived as early as possible to see you, but your parents wanted answers before he can lay his eyes on you.

Kuroko shakes his head. "I know she's been distant, but she wouldn't tell anyone. Only her friend Yuuka knew about it but didn't believe her. I think she was going to try to tell me today after the festival, but then it... happened."

Your mother lets out another choked cry. "My baby..."

Your father reaches out to put his hand on his wife. "I understand." He notices the burden Kuroko carries and lets out a sigh. "This isn't your fault either, Kuroko. She isn't in your school which is why you cannot know of everything. She has been doing a lot better thanks to you, but there is only so much that can be done."

The words provide little comfort to the boy. "I still should have continued pressing her for answers."

"She won't spill anything until she is ready," your father retorts. "No one would have known... except that Yuuka girl. Her infatuation led her to believe the teacher over her friend."

"She's a horrible friend," your mother spits out. "No, no... We need to put her in Kuroko's school. He can keep a much better eye on her."

Your father heaves out another sigh. "We put her in an all-girl's school to avoid anymore incidents. You think putting her in a co-ed will help?"

"She was found just in time because of Kuroko being so observant. We need to make sure she's with him constantly," your mother tries to reason. "I don't care if the principal and vice-principal have apologized a hundred times. She is NOT to go back to that school. It's either that or homeschool."

Your father sends Kuroko an uncertain gaze. "I feel like we are shirking a lot of responsibility onto you should we send her to your school."

Kuroko evens out his face before showing a determined look. "I will ask her, but if she chooses to come to my school, I will definitely keep an eye on her."

A/N: I'm gonna say this until it actually ends but I am blown away that I'm finally finishing the second arc of this story. I had a million ideas that I wanted to include and I'm happy that things are coming into fruition that I can tackle some themes the way I want to. Next is how trauma can cause self destructive behaviors. I am HYPED TO WRITE. Thank you for sticking with the story so far! <3
