Story Trivia: Forever and After

Due to the story being massive with a lot of plots and characters intermingled, there was much I left out. At first, I wanted to write a story with chapters that were bite-sized and easy to consume. However along the way, I just kept expanding the plot and exploring different themes that I just couldn't include all that I had in my head since I wanted the story to end in 100 chapters.

However, I'd still like to add a few things in case people wanted some blanks filled. The trivia will be in chronological order!

MC = main character (reader)

Middle School

- MC got along with many girls when she was in middle school. None were close friendships due to Nijimura unconsciously intimidating any girl from staying close. Awkward middle school kind of intimidation where girls don't know what to do around guys. Either way, MC never noticed the reason as she was too preoccupied with being a manager and hanging out with the basketball team.

- As you can see from Chapter 1, MC did have the confidence to be independent but it was slowly withering away due to her apprehension of boys. Getting verbally attacked was the final straw.

- MC never had a crush on anyone until Kuroko.

- MC's father was indeed super unpopular all throughout school. He was too awkward, too quiet, and was weird looking as a kid. He grew into a normal appearance by college, but his lack of any romantic interests persisted until he was interning at a law firm. The MC's mother was cleaning at the firm he was interning. They crossed paths and he took the chance to ask her out. The MC's mother wanted to say no, but then she thought maybe love at first sight was happening just like in a romance novel. She accepted, they had dinner, and she became smitten with how romantic he was, he truly treated her like a queen and made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. That won her over, and they married within months. Many of the mother's friends told her she could do so much better as they judged him based on his lackluster appearance. However, their marriage has lasted way longer than all her friends and slowly but surely all her friends became envious of her having a great husband. She didn't have to work, he showered her in presents, and constantly pampered her with vacations. They actually have never fought with each other until the day that the mother called the MC a slut.

- Extra side note to the previous long paragraph, the mother kept the house pristine. She was a stay at home mom, but she was very dedicated to that title. All housework was on her except if she asked the father to stop by somewhere to pick up something. But she was very OCD in keeping her house tidy. Laundry was always done, MC was always in bed by 8pm until she was a teenager then curfew was 10pm.

- So when the dad realized the MC's growing popularity, he states that she inherited all that from the mother. The father is also the biggest and first culprit of coddling the MC. He truly believed he would never have a family because he viewed himself as ugly. So when he married, he of course couldn't see his wife doing any wrong. And then when the MC was born, MC especially could do no wrong in his book. MC's mother had to keep him in check and make sure MC didn't get away with stupid stuff.

- The Nijimura's had a hectic household which is why Shuzo found himself more often visiting the MC in her house.

- Shuzo, MC, and Kuroko all live in the same neighborhood. Shuzo is the closest to MC, and Kuroko is just a 10 minute walk from MC.

- Akashi started catching feelings for the MC the same time Kuroko did. He saw her as the school beauty but was incredibly kind and proper. He felt like she was the perfect fit for his elite lifestyle. And the more damaged she became the more he wanted to protect her. When he realized that Kuroko was in love with the MC, he started to stifle his feelings. He especially tried to keep to himself since MC and Nijimura were very much glued to each other.
