Chapter 49.3: Without a Sinful Eyes

When I looked back from my past, I remembered how I like Ariel since I met her.

Around eight years old ata ako nun ng makilala ko si Ariel sa isang beach.

Our fathers were both part of a missionary groups at nasa beach kami noon dahil may retreat ang missionary and they wanted the kids to experience it well.

Si Ariel ang nag-iisang batang kasama sa misyon na iyon kaya't mabilis kaming nakapagpalagayang-loob.

She's kind, bubbly and energetic kid kaya naging crush ko siya noon but then after my drowning accident, I lost my connection to her.

I never meet her again hanggang sa nalaman ko na inoccupied ni Archangel Chamuel ang katawan ko at nakita ko ulit siya.

All of my childhood fantasies came back when I met her.

I thought she's my destiny but no, she's not belong to my side anymore.

"Kaya tama na, Benny. Tama na ang pag-iilusyon mo na may pag-asa ka pa kay Ariel." paghihikayat ko sa aking sarili.

I took deep breathes while closing my eyes.

I need to concentrate.

Hindi dapat akong magpatalo sa temptasyon ni Lust.

"O, come on, Benny. Stop resisting me." seductive na saad ni Lust sabay akla ng kanyang braso sa aking mga braso.

Nasa anyo pa rin siya ni Ariel at kahit nakapikit ako ay alam ko ang ginagawa niya.

Mas idinikit niya ang katawan niya sa akin na siyang nakapagpalunok ng aking laway.

"Concentrate, Benedict. Summon a magical sword now!" sabi ko sa aking sarili ngunit hindi ko magawang kumalma!

I felt Lust's touch on my tummy.

This demon!

She wanted to turn me on.

"Why you just accept me? I can be the woman that you can never had." ani nya pabulong sa tainga ko.

I tried to push her but its seemed my hand had its own mind.

I just touched a soft cotton balls called the women's chest, as I tried my attempt.

Napadilat ako at agad na inilayo ko ang sarili.

Do I really touch a woman?

"Hahaha.. See, you like it too." halakhak ni Lust.

Mas kiniskis ang kanyang katawan sa akin.

Mas malapit na siya sa aking ngayon.

Hinipan niya ang aking tainga na siyang dahilan kung bakit lalong hindi ako makapag-isip ng maayos.

Humagikgik siya sa aking tainga para mas lalo akong akitin.

Ramdam ko ang tagaktak ng aking pawis sa kanyang ginagawa.

Ilang beses akong na rin akong napalunok nang laway upang pigilan ang nakakababaliw na temptasyon na pinalalabas ni Lust.

It really turned me on.

"Magpaubaya ka na sa katawan mo, Benedict Lozaga." saad ni Lust and she bit my ears and she twisted my head to face her.

She's still in Ariel's form–a seductive version of her.

"Let's make out." she asked at doon na nagbalik sa aking kamalayan.

She's not Ariel nor any woman but a monster that trying to destruct me.

Then, a bible verse from Matthew came out from my mind.

" If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.  And if your right hand causes you to stumble,cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell."
(Matthew 29-30)

It made me realized that I enchanted by her because of the form she had.

So, I closed my eyes and enhanced all my remaining senses.

Isang mapanutyang tawa ang ipinalabas ni Lust.

"Do you think you can defeat me while your eyes are closed?" tanong niya.

Tumango ako at marahas siyang tinulak upang magkalayo kami.

"I think so because my eyes are my distraction. Without it, I can save myself." I confidently said then I imagined an troop of soldiers matching toward Lust wherever I tossed her while their weapon is a firing sword.

"You can't do this to me. I am your dearest Ariel." she said.

My ears caused my distraction.

I imagined that my eardrum was closed.

Then, I opened my eardrum again to hear my surrounding but my eyes remained close because I know Lust was still in Ariel's disgust.

"This is impossible. You can't fight me with a closed eyes." she said in disbelief.

"You're wrong. Neither I nor my companions  fought using our eyes or senses from the beginning. We are fighting using our spirit." I declared.

Then, I command the marching soldiers to attack.

Using the sense of feeling that I had, I imagined Lust location not more than three meters away from me.

Her way of avoiding my soldiers as they walked made me point out her location.

So, using the feeling and my imagination, I fought against Lust.

I didn't know what was happening since I maintained my eyes closed.

The only thing I heard was the ripping of something, shout of Lust with a lot of cussed and when her shout lost, I opened my eyes.

There's an ashfall in front of me.

I managed to defeat her.

"I won. Thank you God for helping me won this fight." hindi makapaniwalang saad ko.

Then, I found myself lying on the floor while praying million thanks to the Almighty Father and promised that never fall in temptation again.

"I set you free, Ariel." saad ko and everything went black.

Third Person

"That's an amazing victory, Benny." comment ni Archangel Chamuel as he watched the battle of his apprentice against Lust.

Napaakagat labi naman si Satan as he witnessed another disappearance of his disciples.

"Magsaya kayo mga anghel ngunit hindi pa diyan natatapos ang lahat. Look, Uriel's apprentice, he's knees are on the ground already. His body is full of scratches. His downfall is accurate." ani Satan sabay turo sa isang apoy kung nasaan nakikita ang pagluhod ni Franz sa sahig habang naliligo sa pinaghalong pawis at dugo.

"Hindi lang siya ang matatalo. Look at the healer, he's hiding himself against Greed. The Spiritualist is useless against Sloth. The Summoner's deal against Gluttony is at risk. Arch is still sleeping. My soul will rest on him soon." dugtong pa ni Satan as he pointed out the scenario of war.

Gumagala ang paningin ni Greed habang hinahanap ang nagtatagong si Raphael.

Pinagpapawisan naman sa katatakbo si Gab as Sloth released shadow towards his direction while the devil is yawning.

Si Gluttony at David naman ay tila nasa isang chess competition wherein the soldiers of both team charges against each other.

"Maybe they're in disadvantage. I know in God's grace, they will win for sure." sabi ni Archangel Raphael.

"Let's see." sabi Satan habang nakahalumbaba sa kanyang trono.
