Extra Chapter 1: Arch and Jasmine

When I woke up after we trapped in the hell, I decided to work at the church as a sacristan as Gab's substitute since he was still asleep.

Aside from I felt guilty because I am the reason why Gab is still in coma, I wanted to repay for my sins by serving Him.

Kahit gumising na si Gab ay hindi na ako aalis sa pagiging sakristan.

One morning after the mass, Hansel, one of the sacristan approached me.

Katatapos ko lang magbihis dahil katatapos lang din naman naming mag-service.

"Arch, may naghahanap sa iyong magandang chikababes sa labas." he said.

My brows formed an arch when he said that.

Maliban sa hindi naman nila ako madalas ina-approach ay imposibleng may isang magandang chikababes ang maghahanap sa akin.

Sa pagkakatanda ko ay wala na akong kilalang babae na pwedeng maghanap sa akin maliban kay Ariel.

Ang alam ko ay hindi pa rin nagigising si Ariel sa pagkakatulog niya eh.

Maybe Hansel is making fun of me.

"Are you making fun of me?" saad ko sa kanya.

"I am making fun of you kapag hindi na ikaw si Arch De Sevelles. Jasmine Rivera daw ang pangalan. Labasin mo na lang dude!" saad pa ni Hansel at pinagtulakan na ako palabas ng sacristan room.

I rolled my eyes as I found myself outside the room.

He won. Natulak niya ako palabas eh.

Jasmine Rivera? Do I know someone who has a name of that?

At kung may kakilala nga akong may ganoong pangalan ay bakit naman niya ako hahanapin?

Sa pagkakaalam ko, I never been close to anyone aside from Ariel's group because of the mission.

Wala rin akong naging kaibigang babae.

Then, our eyes met.

Her hazel brown eyes produce drops of tears as it meets mine.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw her crying.

Then, all of the sudden, a flash of memories appeared in my head.

During my high school days, I courted a girl named Jasmine Rivera.

I courted her because I envied Franz who had a girlfriend that time.

They were intimate and I wanted to feel that intimation.

Then, there's Jasmine Rivera, a transferee who loved by a lot of man.

I thought I should at least get her.

She's hard to get actually.

She let me be her friend first before she allowed me to court her.

Hanggang hindi ko namamalayan na nagiging open na ako sa kanya.

She's the first person I am being intimate with.

Bakit ko nakalimutan ang nag-iisang babaeng pumasok sa aking mundo?

"Jas." I called her and I walked towards her to close our distant.

Mas mabilis na nagsipatakan ang mga luha sa kanyang mga mata at napahagulgol siya nang siya'y yakapin ko na.

"Finally, Arch, finally, you remembered me. I thought... you will forget me forever. I thought the secret relationship we had will be forever a dream... I thought..." I pat her back to stop her from crying but she sobs more.

Then, I removed my embrace to her to kiss her in her forehead to calm her down at kumalma naman siya.

"Jas, would you like to make our relationship open?" tanong ko sa kanya.

Her brow formed an arch.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"We didn't break up, did we? So, let's publicized our relationship if you wanted to stay in relationship with me." I replied with a smile.

Wala akong naalala na nag-hiwalay kaming dalawa.

The last memory I had with her is when I got a car accident before I got on our meeting place.

Kinabahan ako dahil tumagal ng ilang minuto na wala akong nakitang reaksyon kay Jasmine.

Then, tumango si Jasmine na may tumutulo pa ring luha sa kanyang mga mata na siyang nagpangiti sa akin.

Pinunasan ko ang kanyang luha at hinalikan ang kanyang pisnging pinagpatakan nito.

"Jas, for this day onward, I promise you that I will stay with you and I will love you. Hindi na ulit kita kakalimutan." saad ko na nakahawak pa sa kanyang pisngi.

May tumulong luha muli roon na siyang pinunasan kong muli ng aking kamay na nakahawak sa kanyang pisngi.

"Pro-mise!" nauutal pa niyang saad.

"Promise!" sabi ko.

Ngumiti siya at kinuha ang aking mga kamay.

"Let's date, Arch. Saan mo gustong pumunta?" masiglang yaya ni Jasmine.

I entwined my hands on her.

"I will show you my real world, Jas. Let's go to my grandfather's mansion." saad ko sa kanya.

"Real world?" tanong niya.

"I am a mentallist, remember? Our family are blessed with special power to worship God." I confessed.

"Oh, really? I wanted to meet your family now. Let's go there." masiglang saad niya.

Magkahawak-kamay kaming naglakad palabas ng St. Michael Basillica.

Then, that's our relationship becomes official.
