Chapter 49.5: David vs. Gluttony

Chapter 49.5:

He Who Doesn't Hungry in Spirit

Since that day when angels from heaven saved me, I never lost my faith.

I never stopped praying and believing that He will save me no matter what happened.

He promised salvation to all people who believe in Him.

Hindi ako matatalo for I know that in this battle I am not alone.

"I know I will win this game because this battle is not mine but His." I said with full of conviction.

The land shook as Gluttony laughed.

"You fool! Your arrows were just a food for me." he said with a grin.

Yeah, I tried to use Archangel Jophiel's arrow to attack him for more than an hour already ngunit wala pa ring tumatama sa kanya.

Its either he dodged it or he ate it.

It's frustrating but...

Yeah... It can be..

"Gluttony, isn't it boring already? I just feed you arrows. Would you like me to feed you angels?" I said.

Napataas ang kilay ni Gluttony sa sinabi ko.

"Will you feed me angels? Oh, you are the angel summoner. Can you do that?" sagot niya.

Napangisi ako..

"Of course if you win in my suggested battle." sagot ko sa kanya.

"Aren't you too proud?"

"I told you I will never lost because I am with Him and He is with me. So, why I am afraid? Don't tell me you are afraid because of my conviction?"

"Of course not. I know I will win. So, what will be our battle?"

"Summon your souls. I will summon my angels. They will fight for us. My angels will free your souls and your souls will eat my angels. Whoever army wins, will get a chance to stab his opponent to death. Isn't it good deal?"

"It's a good deal."

Then, Gluttony opened his mouth so wide at lumabas doon ang libo-libong kaluluwa na may mga kadena sa kanilang mga paa.

Napalunok ako ng laway sa kaawa-awang kalagayan ng mga kaluluwang nagpapanatili kay Gluttony.

Their eyes were restless and their body was so slim.

Sa nakita kong kalagayan nila ay hindi ko napigilang ipikit ang aking mga mata at ipagdaop ang aking mga palad.

"Panginoon, pahintulutan mo sana ako na palayain ang kanilang kaluluwa sa labanang ito." tahimik kong panalangin.

Pagkatapos kong manalangin ay kinuha ko mula sa bulsa ng aking pantalon ang plautang ibinigay ni Lorenzo sa akin at hinipan ito.

Sa aking paghipan ay tila bumukas ang bubong ng impiyerno at inilabas nito ang libo-libong mga anghel na nakasuot ng kanilang mga damit pandigma at may dala-dala silang kani-kanilang sandata.

"This is really interesting. I am hungry by just looking at those angels." Gluttony said and when he was about to open his mouth, I let him swallowed a light ball that made him hissed in pain.

"Walang kikilos sa ating dalawa, Gluttony. We were just commanding them until all of the opponent army vanished." paliwanag ko.

Tumango si Gluttony at sinimulan na ang pagkilos ng kanyang mga alagad na kaluluwa.
