Chapter 49.4: 

The Healer's Resolve

Since I was a kid, my mom always told me that Archangel Raphael guided me.

Dahil doon, ninais kong maging isang mahusay na manggagamot dahil ang aking anghel ay anghel ng pagpapagaling.

Since then, I already knew my destiny but the death of my parents made my life twisted.

I became greedy for knowledge.

I even studied how I resurrect someone.

My everlasting thirst for knowledge had attracted Greed and resulted from the fall of my guardian archangel.

So, when I found out that I had this power to save the world inside me, I wanted to save the world and stop myself from being greedy again.

But I entered this battle too late.

I believed I didn't train enough.

So, now, I am hiding myself in this invisible barrier I invented using my newly equipped power.

Hindi ko alam kung paano ko haharapin si Greed.

I didn't have any single idea on how I should face him.

Kailangan ko ng oras.

Kailangan kong makapag-isip.

"Raphael Lee, saan ka nagtatago?" tanong ni Greed sa napakababa niyang boses.

Napalunok ako ng laway.

His huge deadly appearance made my knees jelly.

I am a healer not a warrior.

Nasaan na ba kasi ang iba kong mga kasamahan?

"Sa tingin mo ba, makakapagtago ka sa akin habambuhay? Why don't you just surrender your soul to me? I will let them go." bargain ni Greed sa akin.

Mas lalo akong napalunok ng laway.

My whole body is shaking because of his very low voice.

Is that the only way to win this war?

Then, I remembered whose my patron angel is.

Archangel Raphael is an angel of healing. Nothing he can't heal.

So, I closed my eyes and imagine a green light surrounded my body.

I am no angel summoner.

I just wanted to hear his voice.

"Don't be afraid. The Omnipotent God is with you." I heard my guardian angel said in my inner thoughts.

Napangiti ako.

He is right!

I should fight.

How could I save this world if I am just hiding here?

My God is my fortress.

I'm sure he will save me.

Huminga ako ng malalim at ipinikit ko ang aking mga mata upang manalangin.

"Panginoon, maraming pong salamat sa pagtitiwala na magagawa kong ingatan ang green ray ni Archangel Raphael sa kabila ng lahat ng mga kasalanan ko. Thanks for sustaining my power in this war. Please help me to bring Your kingdom the bacon. Lend me Your Strength and lend me Your Wisdom." I prayed.
