Tim smiled, holding Thelma's hand gently before kissing the back of it. "Well, I suppose my only wish is to have a wedding with Thelma," he said, his voice soft but filled with sincerity.
Thelma's eyes widened, and she tried to pull her hand away, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Tim! Don't be so shameless in front of everyone!" she exclaimed, though her attempts to free her hand were half-hearted at best.
Emmett, standing nearby, took Sara's hand in his own. "I would like the same," he said, his voice calm but firm. "I'll continue my duties, but I wish to have a wedding as well."
Mila's eyes lit up with joy, unable to contain her excitement. "Yay! You're finally going to get married!" she cheered, clapping her hands in delight. The idea of her loyal companions finding happiness together filled her heart with warmth. "A double wedding! How wonderful!" She could hardly wait to see them both exchange vows and start their new lives.
Duke Reynard watched the scene unfold with a hint of surprise, but a small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. He hadn't expected wedding requests, but seeing the happiness on Mila's face made it all worthwhile. "Very well," he agreed, his tone carrying both authority and warmth. "We'll arrange for both weddings. Please, just try to keep the commotion to a minimum," he added with a touch of humor, knowing how much joy and excitement this news would bring.

Mila woke up slowly, blinking as the familiar surroundings of her old room came into focus. It had been a week since she'd returned home, and the comfort of her bed, with Cotton and Net curled up beside her, made her feel at ease. She yawned, stretching her arms as she took in the quiet morning. The memory of the previous night's events brought a smile to her face—the weddings of Sara and Emmett, as well as Tim and Thelma, had been a joyous occasion, one that had surprised and delighted the entire household, especially the knights.
Sara and Emmett had left for their honeymoon, returning to Sara's hometown, while Tim and Thelma had gone to a secret location where rare herbs grew—perfect for making medicine. Mila had been curious about the place, but they had refused to share its name. 'Geez, those two could have at least given me a hint,' Mila thought with a sigh, realizing that it was pointless to dwell on it now.
Rising from her bed, she dressed quickly and made her way downstairs for breakfast. After eating, she grabbed her sword, ready to start her training as she usually did. The rhythm of her routine grounded her, giving her a sense of normalcy after so much had changed.
As she made her way outside, she spotted Ambrose, his brother Perry, and Iris in the distance. A playful idea popped into her head. Quietly, she sneaked up on them, moving through the bushes until she was close enough. Then, with a swift leap, she jumped out and struck at Ambrose.
The clash of swords rang out, and Mila grinned as Ambrose met her attack head-on, his reflexes sharp as ever. "Miss me?" she teased, laughing as she engaged him in a sparring match. She could see the enjoyment in his eyes, even behind his mask.
"Hey! You two, calm down!" Perry called out, trying to intervene as the two continued their playful duel.
Iris watched with a smile. "That's certainly one way to greet someone after three years apart," she commented, impressed by how much Mila's skills had improved.
Mila moved swiftly, her strikes coming faster as she tested Ambrose's defenses. 'He's gotten better,' she thought, noting how much harder it was to dodge his attacks. But she wasn't one to back down easily. With a quick maneuver, she leaped over him, landing a solid kick that sent him to the ground. In a flash, she had her sword at his throat, grinning down at him. "You've improved," she complimented, pleased to see how strong he had become.
