"Mmmmm..." Mila grumbled, feeling her sore body that had been messed with throughout the two days with Ambrose. 'Why does this man do this to me?' Mila recalled them just talking about their previous lives before things just went blurry. 'I can't believe that we did it in the hot spring. Let's hope that no one assumes or finds out.' Mila had to say that doing it there was rather odd but a new feeling for her. The other hot spring that she could recall being in was back in the Zameth kingdom, but it was to give birth to their daughter. Poor Mila did not know that it was just part of the life of couples. Well, she at least knew now, but it was nothing to be disappointed or mad about. Just full of love.
"Are you thinking about how good it was in the hot spring?" Ambrose hugged Mila from behind and kissed her back. It felt like a nice morning with a bit of a breeze and some heat at the same time.
Yet, he did not need to tell her that so early in the morning. "Idiot! You keep messing with me!" Mila grabbed onto the pillow, hiding her face from being seen by Ambrose, who felt like teasing her again at that moment. 'Why do I feel I should ignore you before you start something stupid again?' Keeping that to herself.
"Don't hide your face." Ambrose had grabbed the pillow, tossing it to the corner of the room. "You continue to be shy for some reason. I don't see how you could be shy when I've seen this body of yours so many times." Ambrose had his hug full around her, not wanting to let her go as if she would disappear if he did. The sun was barely coming up. They were just talking about something serious before he decided to cut it short and keep her occupied when they should have been looking into more serious stuff.
"It's you, so of course I would be shy. When it is with the person you love, then it would be embarrassing to show yourself to them." Mila held onto the blanket that covered them both. 'This guy really makes things hard for me to get on track with him completely. I end up losing track of him or losing track of time.' Mila tried to focus before Ambrose spoke out once more.
"I'm glad that you're shy with me. I hope you will only have me to see all of you and feel shy for." Ambrose smiled, getting up to kiss her head. He looked down, and Mila turned to face him; she knew she could never be angry at him for too long, even though it was something little.
'This man.' Mila sighed, seeing how he was just staring down at her. Making her once again feel shy to see that he could keep staring at her. "I think it's about time that we go back to them. We can't keep holding back time since we have only reached the Gririth kingdom. We need to be able to meet the emperor, and I know for a fact that you are not associated with their enemy in any way." Mila had to be honest since the Gririth emperor was hard to come across. Ever since the incident that involved the war, the emperor had been struggling with his palace.
"I know, but I still want to spend more time with you." Ambrose kept his arms around her. He was sure clingy of her, but there was nothing to be mad about it.
In fact, Mila would rather he be clingy to her because if not her, then who else? She instead prefers him to be clingy with her. "Fine..." Mila had them lay in bed a little longer, and half of their day was wasted at the hot springs. 'This may be the last time we will come to one.' Mila did not find the hot spring the best place for them if they were going to be stuck there for a long time.
Both had started their way back to the tavern where they had originally been supposed to stay. Looking around, they could feel a bit of cold air throughout the town.
"How did an ice beast get here?"
"There has never been an ice or water beast around here."
"It really made a huge fog build up for some time, but it made the heat go away for a good amount of time."
