Everyone rushed to the roof of the palace, drawn by the brilliant light that surrounded Mila. As they reached the top, they saw her floating in the air, glowing with an intense energy that illuminated the night. The sight of her suspended in the air filled them with both awe and dread.

"Mila?! What are you doing?!" Duke Reynard shouted, his voice filled with fear and confusion. He didn't understand what she was planning, but the immense power radiating from her made him fear the worst. He knew that this could be the moment when he might lose his daughter forever.

Mila looked down at them, her expression full of sorrow and resolve. "Everyone, I'm sorry, but I need to do this. Please don't hate me," she said, her voice gentle but firm. She wanted them to know how much she loved them all and how much she wished for their happiness—even if it meant she wouldn't be there to see it. "I want you all to be happy, even if I'm no longer here. Please, take care of my children. The time we've spent together, the memories we've made—they've shown me how much I need to be stronger. Now, I can finally break a curse for one of the kingdoms." If only she had more time, but the sooner she went then, the faster it would be over.

The light around her grew brighter, intensifying until it was blinding. Everyone shielded their eyes, unable to bear the intense light it gave off.

"Mila!!!" They cried out, their voices filled with panic and desperation. When the light finally faded, they saw her lying limp at the center of where the light had been.

"Mila!!!!" Duke Reynard rushed to her side, gathering her lifeless body into his arms. His voice broke as he called her name, as if willing her to come back, to breathe again. Leo knelt beside him, tears streaming down his face as he pleaded for his sister to return.

Tears fell from the eyes of everyone present, grief-stricken by the loss of not just their emperor but now their empress as well. Duke Reynard's mind flashed back to the words of Mila's mother, who had once warned him that he would be the cause of her death. "Mila, please come back!!! Don't leave me too!!!" He cried, his heart breaking as he held her close.

As they mourned, no one noticed that the Noble family's symbol, once prominent on Mila's skin, had begun to fade. It vanished completely as if it had never been there.

Doctors and healers were summoned urgently. After a long examination, they came to a troubling conclusion—Mila had a faint pulse, so weak it seemed she was hovering between life and death. They laid her to rest in her bed, hoping against hope that she would wake up.

"She has a very faint pulse. We can only wait and see," one of the healers said softly, his tone heavy with uncertainty. "Have hope."

"Mila, please wake up. Your children are waiting for you," Sara whispered, her voice thick with emotion as she stood by the bed, holding one of Mila's babies. The rest of the family and friends stood nearby, each holding one of Mila's children, all of them tearful and desperate for her to return to them.

The palace felt unbearably empty; the once lively halls were now filled with an aching silence. The light that Mila had brought into their lives seemed to have dimmed, leaving everyone to wonder if it would ever shine again.

Six Months Later...

"Is she still stable?" Duke Reynard asked, his voice heavy with concern as he looked at Bert. For six long months, Mila had remained asleep, her condition unchanged, and each day that passed weighed heavily on their hearts. Duke Reynard lived in constant fear that his daughter might slip into a coma, as she had once before, leaving them in uncertainty for years.

"She's stable," Bert replied, though his exhaustion was evident. He, too, had been sleepless, tirelessly watching over Mila alongside Duke Reynard. The toll of worry was etched into every line on their faces. Bert noticed the guilt in Duke Reynard's eyes, a guilt that had kept him from even visiting his grandchildren. Gently, Bert placed a reassuring hand on the duke's back. "Hey, don't keep blaming yourself. Mila wouldn't want to see you like this. She'd want you to take care of yourself."
