"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
The sound of the maids screaming out to witness their future empress's death echoed within the halls. Mila could not help but feel sad for Lana, who had lived her entire life as an item behind the castle walls, reminding her of her past life as a nobody. She watched the healers and doctors enter Lana's room and try to revive her, with Prince Leroy rushing in to see it.
"What do you mean she's dead?!?!?!?" Prince Leroy yelled out, looking to see Lana no longer alive nor with a heartbeat. Her body was lifeless on that bed.
The healers and doctors were all trying their best to revive her, but Lana was no longer alive with her body cold. Mila then saw a familiar boy and gasped at him. She did not think he would be Lana's child then.
"Father, what happened to mother?" Luke asked, looking to his father, who knelt down, hugging him and not allowing him to see his deceased mother. Luke knew what had happened, but he did not have the emotion to know how to be sad about his mother's death.
"Your mother went somewhere far away. You won't be able to see her anymore." Prince Leroy did not want his son to see his mother's death since he had his mother for a long time.
Mila did not think that he would be the child between Lana and Prince Leroy. 'So, he is their child.' Then, she saw the sorcerer hiding on the balcony, knowing that he did not sense or see her talking to Lady Lana in her last moments. The maids and servants were in tears, knowing that Lady Lana was like an angel from the heavens who had dropped to the kingdom to love and care for them all.
Mila saw Nerva hop down to the little pond while she followed after him. She saw him stare down at the little pond with the Petal Frogs croaking but in a more sad rhythm. "Are you going to come out or let me kill you?" Nerva said, still staring at the pond, with Mila forming from the little bits of water from his pond.
"I could see the look on your face. It seems as though you really cherish that lady more than her real husband did." Mila said that Nerva did not care about his last intentions with her. He no longer cared about having a child with a strong mana. He just wanted to see Lana again and make more memories with her. "Lady Lana wanted to see me and requested a last wish for me to do." Mila did not like the sorcerer, but she was only trying to fulfill Lana's wish. 'How did she have a soft heart for him?'
"What did she want?" Nerva did not understand why Lana would ask the unknown woman to do it when she had him right there.
"She wanted me to give you this." Mila had the water rise up with the box going over to him. "I do not know why, but she wanted me to give it to you. That was her last wish, and she did not wish for you to crumble or break from her death. She only wished for you to be happy as her one and only true love. I will be going now. This body has its limit, so I have to leave. Do not think about doing anything reckless. I know that you are the leader of the Mana Hunters, and I do not want you to think that I will ever join you just because I am being nice this one time." Mila said, disappearing before he could attack her with his mana.
Nerva felt upset and angry, but he then looked at the box he had taken into his hands. He opened it to see that it was a piece of Lana's dark maroon hair. He saw it braided and specifically cast with a spell to avoid withering away. "You really are hopeless." He said, looking at it and holding it tightly in his hand. He knew that there was going to be no other way to see her since every noble person who entered the castle would be cremated.
"Uncle." Luke appeared before Nerva, who did not understand why he called him uncle. "Mother told me to call you uncle because you are like family. She said that you would be lonely, so she told me to call you 'uncle.'' Luke remembered that his 'mother' wanted him to call Nerva 'uncle' when it was true that they were blood-related when she had no clue about it. Only Luke knew deep inside that they were blood-related, while others had no idea.
