'How did things come to this?' ZH [Ambrose] looked to see Mila sound asleep after they had the children all taken elsewhere to avoid being used. ZH had been feeling afraid of losing Mila when they were finally able to mend their feelings. The healer had finished, which was indeed an old woman who looked to see how many men there were, leaving her unsure about the current situation that they were in.

"She just needs time to rest. No need to worry too much. I'll be staying here to speak to her alone since she is a woman and there are only men here from what I can see. I hope that you all think about her well-being." The old healer looked at them all and remained in the room waiting for Mila to wake up so that they could have a serious talk. Seeing how every single fellow man around was on guard, it was hard to truly speak about such a topic with them since men take it harder than women. Noticing a familiar figure, it was not hard to know who he was. "Lord Ambrose, what are you doing here though?" The old healer looked to see that he had indeed returned as the rumors had explained.

There was nothing that she could do besides see what he would write to her if he wanted to tell her. Seeing how he didn't say or write anything, she ignored him and kept her same look and patience. The men who were inside the room had left, leaving only ZH and the healer alone to await Mila. The knights were outside waiting for Mila to wake up since they managed to save the children yet they couldn't protect their lady during that whole struggle.

Mila did not know where she was, so she kept looking around, and soon she saw a little girl facing her. "Mother!" Hearing the little girl say, she couldn't see her face, but she only saw silky violet hair like hers.

Waking up, Mila looked around seeing that she was in her room in the tavern. Her clothes had been changed when she was unconscious. She was dressed in her nightgown seeing that it was now morning with the cold weather kicking in. "So, you're the one leading all of these fellow men." Hearing an elderly woman's voice, she turned to see it was indeed an old woman who was a healer. Still laying in bed, she did not have the strength to get up yet. "I would not try moving so soon yet. Wait for a little longer until you feel like you have the strength to move." The healer was only giving her advice to listen to.

"Who are you? What happened to me?" Mila grumbled feeling her body ache a little even though she was laying in bed. Listening to the healer's words, she waited for some time before getting up to sit on the bed and know what exactly happened to her that night. The healer brought a cup of warm water to Mila as she lightly took little sips with the blanket still kept around her.

"Alright, I guess you want to know what happened to you." The healer looked to Mila, she nodded in response since she wanted to know the truth behind her pain.

"I want to know what happened to me. Why did I all of a sudden feel such pain in my lower belly?" Mila looked to the healer, hoping that she would give her a clear and honest answer.

"This happens all the time with you first-timers. I suggest you should stop all of this nonsense that you are currently doing. It'll only harm the child you are currently carrying." The cup fell onto the bed, wetting the blanket a bit then making a clinking sound hitting the hard floor. It made the healer sigh, seeing how she didn't even know herself about her conditions. "I didn't think you would not know is this far along. Most women would get checked up by now if they had symptoms showing." The healer held her head, feeling as though it would be common-sense among women.

"H-How far along am I?" Mila didn't know how long she had been pregnant. She didn't even have time to focus on herself when she was so caught up in her plans to have the children from the mana hunters.

"You're about six to seven weeks." The healer said with Mila laying her hand onto her belly, thinking about how the timing was exactly adding up to when she was with ZH in the Zameth Kingdom. "You're lucky that you did not get hurt. You could've lost your child if it was much worse. A fetus is still unstable right now, so you will have to make sure to avoid a lot of things. I'll be sure to jot some notes down for what you should eat and cannot eat." The healer was not a doctor, but she was a mother herself that knew what to consume and what not.
