Mila stood in the shadows, her eyes narrowed as she watched the scene unfold before her. The two women, her half-sisters, were on the ground, battered and defeated, while the Grand Bear, a formidable beast, lay unconscious nearby. Addis, despite her injuries, had intervened at the last moment, saving the two sisters from what Mila believed to be their well-deserved fate.

"Well, I didn't think she would save my two nemeses, especially after one of them tried to sacrifice the other," Mila muttered to herself, her voice tinged with frustration. She sighed, shaking her head at the irony of it all. Addis, ever the hero, had once again thrown herself into the fray, disrupting Mila's carefully laid plans.

With a practiced motion, Mila reached for her mask, securing it tightly over her face. The mask, an intricate piece adorned with subtle, swirling patterns, concealed her identity completely. She adjusted her cloak, pulling it around her until it enveloped her entire body, erasing any trace of who she truly was. The fabric was dark, absorbing the light and blending seamlessly with the shadows around her. 'This should do it,' she thought, a small smile curling on her lips as she felt the familiar sense of transformation. Disguised like this, she could move unnoticed, her true intentions hidden from prying eyes.

As she finished her preparations, a soft rustling behind her caught her attention. Buck, her loyal companion, emerged from the shadows, his large form moving with surprising grace for a creature of his size. His eyes, sharp and intelligent, fixed on her, and Mila could sense the question in them even before he spoke.

'Why did you decide to save her? Didn't she just ruin our plan to bring down those two who plotted against us?' Buck's voice, deep and resonant, echoed in her mind, laced with confusion and a hint of reproach.

Mila turned to him, her gaze steady. "Hmph, let's just say she serves another purpose in my plans," she replied, her tone cool and measured. She walked over to where Addis lay, her body battered and bleeding from the wounds inflicted by the Grand Bear. The sight of Addis, so vulnerable and yet so determined, stirred something in Mila—something she quickly pushed aside.

"Vivian," she called softly, her voice carrying an undercurrent of command. In response, a soft, ethereal light began to glow from within her, and a moment later, Vivian appeared. The glowing horse, with her wings, spread wide and her horn shimmering with gathered mana was a sight to behold. Her presence was calming, almost serene, and yet there was an undeniable power about her.

'You called?' Vivian's voice was gentle, tinged with curiosity as she looked first at Mila and then at the injured woman lying at her feet. 'What has my young master gotten herself into this time?' Vivian wondered, knowing full well that Mila's mind was always a whirlwind of plans and schemes.

"Heal her," Mila instructed, her voice firm. "She is vital to our plans and needs to live."

Vivian nodded, her horn beginning to glow brighter as she focused her energy on Addis. The wounds on Addis's body began to knit together, the bleeding slowing until it stopped entirely. As Vivian worked, Mila's eyes flicked to Buck, who stood a few paces away, staring at Vivian with an expression Mila had never seen on his face before.

"Umm... are you alright?" Mila asked, noticing how Buck seemed completely entranced by Vivian.

Buck, however, didn't answer her directly. Instead, he took a step closer to Vivian, his voice suddenly earnest, almost pleading. 'Can you form a contract with me?!' He blurted out, his eyes wide with hope.

Mila blinked, caught off guard by his sudden request. 'What is this horse trying to do?' she wondered, her mind racing as she tried to understand Buck's intentions. Vivian, who had been entirely focused on healing Addis, now turned her attention to Buck, her expression unreadable.
