Noah and Theo were outside, sent to find any other clues or hints involving the Mana Hunters. Along with Mila sending them out to try and find any Mana Hunters that could be roaming around near their tavern if they sensed her. Things had been worrying Mila since she had sensed them nearby at some point, and sometimes they would just disappear out of nowhere. It was the mana stones that she sensed rather than them since mana did not reside within them. 'I need to be careful.'
"She seems just as cruel as him!" Theo sniffled and sneezed after hugging his cloak, feeling cold from the sudden weather change that was happening out of nowhere.
"You need to man up. Things you complain about do not make the situation any better." Noah looked to Theo who grumbled with annoyance. Both still held out in their little war at the moment.
"Tsk! Let's hurry and find whatever is supposed to be here." Theo said, but Noah had immediately dragged him as both hid in the alleyway. Sensing the strong mana nearby, they did not know if it was just a passerby who happened to have mana, or it was an actual mana hunter nearby.
"Did you get what I asked?"
"Right here, master."
Noah and Theo saw three figures giving another something in a bag. The 'master' that they called had opened the little bag taking out a dark glowing mana stone that held much more mana within it. They could not see any face or figure of the 'master' who held the mana stone in their palms which would make it hard for them to find out the one behind it all.
"Good, we should be finishing soon. Have you found any clues about that woman? They say that she has likely returned. They could sense her mana nearby." Their master spoke, trying to see if he could sense the mana anywhere close by.
Noah and Theo knew that they were likely talking about Mila. 'This isn't good. They are getting more and closer to the tavern.' Noah could see the tavern just a few blocks away from the three figures that were looking for her.
"We have also sensed her nearby, but there is a barrier that hides her."
"She may be close so take a look at every tavern and inn." Their master said as they all rushed off leaving Theo and Noah letting out a sigh.
"We have to report this to him," Theo said looking at Noah who agreed. They needed to tell ZH [Ambrose] before something went wrong. Feeling as though the Mana Hunters would not be able to find her yet.
"You go, I will stay here to keep an eye on Mila." Noah was going to remain there to try and make sure that the barrier stayed up while the mana hunters did not find her. Both agreed, going separate ways, they needed to think this through to avoid any upcoming trouble.

"Where is Kate?" Mila worriedly sat down in her bed hoping that nothing went wrong since it had been three days. Mila was just relaxing until she sensed a strong and dark aura coming towards her. Barely managing to create a barrier, she had nearly tumbled looking up to see the sorcerer who always stood by the Mireraweth emperor's side. She had cast her spell to hide her identity from being seen. The door of her room had been blocked by two figures of the Mana Hunters with Noah being thrown back towards Mila. "Noah?!" Seeing how Noah must have been trying to deal with them on his own.
"We finally found you. Do you know how long it took for us to find you after all these years?" The sorcerer said walking up from the door entrance, grinning at Mila who had nothing but disgust for him.
"My lady, you must run away while you can. I won't be able to hold all of them off in this condition. With your current condition, then I won't be able to protect you." Noah whispered to Mila who did not want to leave him behind.
