Mila didn't know how many people she had left in her past and new life. At the same time, she gained many but could lose many all at once. 'I do not want to lose anyone. I am afraid that things will not turn out well. The fear that I have continues to rise more and more in my heart.' Mila did not want the feeling of lying to herself since it involved the people that she cherished. Thinking back, the Mireraweth emperor was more ruthless since he had become crippled with only three limbs left. If the Mireraweth emperor were to ever find out that it was her who crippled him then he would kill her or worse. He would use her then kill her as he would to any woman who try to reject him. Women who had looked to his taste were enough to make him lust after them. 'That sorcerer and Vita are likely using each other for their benefits. Judging from Vita, she would never do anything unless it benefits her in some way.'

Bert had Mila settle back down in her bed, he was checking on her health and then to her unborn child's condition to see if there was anything wrong. "Everything seems fine with you both. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with either of you so that's good. You will have to be sure to rest for the next few months and then when you reach a certain month I'll have you start walking around, but not too much is required." Bert didn't know who the father was even though he was curious about who had caught his lady's attention since she would mainly turn towards the friend zone for each other. "Have you seen your father yet?" He then asked since he figured if Mila was still alive then Duke Reynard and Leo would still be alive then.

"No, but I know that they are both fine without me by their side. I do not know how they are, but I know that they will not get into unnecessary trouble while I'm gone. I've been in a coma state for six years and I never got to meet them in person even when I first woke up. Not only that, but I just came here and started trying to get rid of the Mana Hunters lurking freely with no worry for the past six years." Mila smiled while Bert looked at Mila not even knowing that she had gone into a coma state before all of this.

There was some silence, he had to keep himself calm since he did not know the aftermath of everything. "I should be quite grateful to the fellow who saved you, but I'm worried your father will have a hard time trying to agree with this." Bert did not understand how it all came to this, but with how things are then there was no way to stop it at this point. Mila would never allow her child to be in any harm, a child was a mother and father's weakness. Thinking back to how Mila's father would feel, he decided to mention that it was never seen appropriate for this kind of love to happen. "Mostly, when this is before marriage and your father would want to kill the fellow man that you've been with throughout this whole time that you've been awake." Bert did not want to see Mila in any trouble with her father since she would never let a man take advantage of her, but since she had been in a coma then one could assume that things were possible.

"Hahaha, thank you for lecturing me on behalf of my father. It seems as though I have more than one father which makes me happy to know you are also part of the family." Mila couldn't keep her laugh inside since it was too true with how Bert was telling her ahead of time before her father did instead. "Hahaha, you've been in my life for so long. You are like my father as well."

"..." Bert did not know what to say at this point since he truly loved Mila like his own child since he did not have any of his own. "I'll be sure to come by and check on you from time to time since I'll be living here as well." Bert was finally able to come back to focus on what he needed to tell Mila. "Eulalius has set up a small room for me to stay in, and I don't even know the location of this place. So, I won't be going back to the town any time soon." Bert didn't even know where the lodge was located, but Eulalius had informed him that he wouldn't be able to leave the place and if he needed any servants or maids then he would personally send them himself. "Sometimes, I wonder how you meet the strangest people who end up helping you." He then said out making Mila smile once more.
