Better than the rest-Luke

A/N: AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY hello I hope you are doing well, I am doing fantastic considering I might get Ed Sheeran tickets anyway this weeks theme is "Valentines Day" considering that Valentines Day is this Saturday which I will be flying solo (nothing I'm not used to) whatevs let's get to it

"Luke I can't believe he would cheat on me!" you tell Luke over the phone.

He was such a great friend, he's been through every single one of your rough break-ups and trust me there were many.

The most recent heartbreak which you were now crying over was Jack, the schools well known "player" you didn't know why you dated him guys were constantly coming in and out of your life it was just routine by now, but the fact that he cheated on you, that has never happened before which made it different than all the other break- ups.

It wasn't that you were "sleeping around" guys liked you and you were obsessed with the idea of marrying your high school sweetheart.

"He's a fool" Luke says over the phone.

You sniffle and try to compose yourself.

"Are you still gonna come to my show tonight? It's our special Valentines Day concert"

Luke was a part of 5 Seconds of Summer which you have seen grow into this very popular band.

"I don't know, I'm not in the mood to be presentable"

"You would look perfect even if you wore a trash bag" Luke says quietly.

You didn't think much of his compliments their were many and it was frequent but you thought he only did it to get you to do things.

"Not even the slightest bit true"

"I beg to differ"

"Yeah whatever"

"You have to come Y/N, for me please" Luke says.

"Alright fine"

"YAY OH MY GOD THANK-"

"Yeah whatever see you then" you say before hanging up.

The show was in 1 hour.

You decide to wear a black sweater and ripped jeans with your hair down. Makeup wasn't really a priority right now.

You look at your phone and see it starts in 15 minutes.

shit

The stadium was 30 minutes away from your house and they had no opening act.

fantastic

You quickly get into your car and drive as fast as you can (abiding by the laws of course).

When you finally get there you enter through the back door and the security knows who you are since you are friends with Luke and come to a lot of their concerts.

You get in your seat which pretty close to the stage and get dirty looks since they are performing at the moment.

They are singing the end of Don't Stop and you are only about 20 minutes late due to the traffic.

Then you hear Luke on the microphone "This next song is for someone that I've known for a long time who I care for very deeply" you turn your head and he's looking at you.

"She just got cheated on and I've actually liked her for a very long time... This is Heartbreak Girl"

As the song goes on you start to realize that Luke is the one for you.

After the show you find him and run up to him and kiss him.

"I love you" he says.

"I love you more"

"Impossible"

You smile and think about how stupid you are for not realizing that Luke has liked you.

"I hope I'll be better than the rest"

"I know you will" you say confidently.
