Possesive Breakup

The music is loud, and you can feel his hands on your hips. As alcohol runs through your veins you sway to the music. Calum figured the club would be great tonight, and of course he was right. If there is one thing that boy knows how to do it's pick a spot for a date.

"Babe I'll be right back I just have to go say hi to a friend of mine." He says, squeezing your hand.

"Okay, I'm just gonna stay here and dance." I say, and kiss his cheek. After a little bit I feel hands wrap around my waist again.

Then they're gone, and there's a young man bleeding on the floor. An angry Calum stands above him fist clenched and high. At first you're scared, but then the anger washes over you. He's so god damn possessive and

"Calum..." you whisper angrily.

"Wait. Y/N." He calls after you as you run out of the club.

"No Calum we are through, and that's it. I've told you I can stick up for myself, and to stop being so possessive time and time again so this is it. You don't know what you got till its gone, right Cal?" You say, tears threatening to spill over your cheeks.

A few weeks later you wake up your head pounding as it has been every morning. If you don't get wasted at night you cry your eyes out to the point of dehydration. God, you loved him so much, but if he can't see that you're strong enough to take care of yourself and he gets jealous that easily than that's that it's over.

A knock on your door forces you to crawl to the door.

"Hello." You croak out.

"I'm sorry I'll try. I'll try and stop getting so jealous. You were right I didn't know what I had. now I do. I realized that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Take me back, and I don't know marry me?" Calum says getting down on one knee in the snow on your front step.

"U-uh only if you really try. You really have to make an effort Cal because I do want to spend the rest of my life with you too." You say, wrapping your arms around his neck as he stands up.
