New Years Friendzone- Luke

A/N: GOOD EVENING PEOPLE god I sound like Niall. Okay so this weeks theme is New Years I hope you all had a great holiday and I hope you have a great new year. Let's get started.

You and your demon of an older brother Michael were throwing a party for New Years.

Yeah Michael wasn't that bad but he was always trying to dye your hair while you were sleeping and he was constantly teasing you but you loved him anyway and you guys were close. He was 19 and you were 17. Being Michaels younger sister did have some perks. He was a part of this band called 5 Seconds of Summer and people actually liked them surprisingly but that wasn't even the best part. Luke the guitar player and amazingly talented singer was, and damn he was delicious.

You always had a crush on Luke he was 18 and best friends with Michael you had been crushing on him for 4 years but he never gave you a second glance.

You were hoping this year would be different.

At le party

You decided to wear something you normally would not even think of wearing. It was a short tight black dress, simple but cute. For your hair you curled it and put some makeup on. You liked the way you looked.

When you walked downstairs to the living room Luke was the first one there.

"Whoa Y/N... You look..." Luke stutters.

"Thanks" you blush.

"Alright if your done drooling over my sister I need to talk to you in private" Michael says.

Your face turns a deep red.

"I...um..." Luke says embarrassed.

"It's okay mate let's go" Michael says laughing.

They walk away leaving you alone with boosted confidence.

More people show up that you don't even know but you just go along with it, then your best friend shows up, thank God.

"Heyyyyyyyy" Y/BFF/N says.

"Whoa you look amazing" she says.

"You too" you say. You didn't actually notice what she was wearing you were too busy wondering where Luke was.

"Luke is in the kitchen" Y/BFF/N says reading your mind.

You start walking but she grabs your arm stopping you.

"I wouldn't" she says with a sad look on her face.

"Why?"

She has a scared look on her face.

You speed walk to the kitchen to see Luke sucking some girls face off (Liz would not approve).

You feel the tears fall down your face and you run up to your room but not before Michael sees you.

"Whoa Y/N what happened?" He says with a concerned look on his face.

"Luke is with another girl" you says choking down sobs.

"But you guys aren't together" he says breaking the truth to you.

"I thought he liked me"

"I'm sorry Y/N" Michael says.

"I'm gonna go talk to him"

You walk over to Luke and he is strangely by himself so you run up to him and kiss him.

He tries to pull back and you don't let him. When you pull back you say "Luke I've liked you for 4 years".

"Y/N... I... I just like you as a friend" Luke says.

"Oh ok..."

"I'm sorry"

"No it's fine I'm sorry for kissing you" you say.

"That was ok I enjoyed it" he says smiling.

"Ok... See you later"

You run up to your room and lock yourself in there refusing to come out.

I'm so stupid!

You eventually fall asleep until you hear someone knock on your door.

You open it to see Luke.

"Hey"

"Hi" you say letting him into your room.

"I don't really like parties" he says quietly.

"Me neither"

Silence for a good 2 minutes.

"Y/N I really like you"

"Yeah as a friend" you say.

"No I am in love with you. I was just shocked when you told me and I wasn't thinking so I lied" Luke says.

"Really?!"

"Yeah I always had a crush on you"

"Then who was that girl?" You say frowning.

"She said she would tell Michael that I liked you if I didn't kiss her"

"Oh"

"I don't blame you for being mad at me" Luke says.

"No I'm not mad, just shocked"

"Well it's almost midnight..."

"Let's go downstairs" you say excitedly.

You guys had a midnight kiss and agreed to date and Michael couldn't be happier.
