Chapter 47

LAINA'S POV

I woke up and looked to my side to see no Sam. I quickly looked all around the room and saw nothing. I sighed and picked up Button and opened my bedroom door. Joker was at my heels as I struggled to walk downstairs. I stopped at the top of the stairs for a second, and thought I was remembering something. I started breathing heavily and getting light headed. I started sobbing, but I didn't even know why because I couldn't even remember the thing I was starting to remember.

I took a deep breath and, after a few minutes, continued my struggle down the stairs. I heard Mario kart music playing and saw Sam, Ricky, and two boys I hadn't learned the names of playing on the game station.

"Good morning boys." I said stroking Button.

"Good morning beautifu- ARE YOU KIDDING ME I WAS IN FIRST PLACE JC WHY DID YOU THROW THAT BLUE SHELL!" Sam screeched and threw a pillow at one of the boys who was now laughing.

"I get next game." I shout before entering the kitchen. I pulled out a bag of grapes and took a large portion to wash and eat. I put them in a bowl and teetered back into the living room where the boys were playing.

I sat next to Sam, and put my boot on the coffee table, and watched him lose.

"Have you always sucked this much because I remember you being good." I say and kiss his cheek as they got even pinker.

"Alright after this game it's my turn with Laina." A boy with curly hair and a beanie said as he started the next game. I nodded and grabbed the controller from Sam. I chose baby Peach and by the end of the game Ricky was going in circles and I crossed the finish line first. "how are you so good at rainbow road?" The boy with the beanie asked as I turned off the wii and popped a few grapes into my mouth.

"I actually remember sucking at it the last time I played with Chris." I said laughing and snuggling into Sam.

"Don't get too comfy Laina, I'm Jc Caylen, and I'm about to make your life a whole lot more exciting." He said and flashed a dazzling and comforting smile. I stood up and jumped into his arms, letting him hold me in the air for what felt like hours. When he put me down I lost my balance, "stupid boot." I muttered. He laughed at me and then we walked up to my room together. Jc said he actually didn't have anything exciting planned and he just wanted to talk about what I've remembered. We talked about all the things I remembered, which lead me to remember more things which I verified with Jc. We also ended up filming a blindfolded make up challenge for my channel and all in all Jc turned out to be the most helpful out of the group. I decided if I ever wanted to remember things I would go talk to him. I was sitting upside down on my bed when Jc spoke up, "wanna go get some froyo?"

"Yes." I said bluntly and Jc and I walked to his car.

At froyo multiple people told us that we were an adorable couple and we both blushed every time. In the car on the way home I sighed relatively loudly. "What's up Lai?" Jc said stroking my hand.

"I just wished this never happened." I said under my breath, frowning at my boot. "TeenHoot is in 2 weeks and I still don't even know two people in the house." I said and brought my right hand to the bridge of my nose.

"It'll be alright Lai, hey at least you've remember YouTube and stuff like that." He said and smiled. There he goes with the optimism.

KIAN'S POV

When Jc took Laina out I thought it was the perfect opportunity to call Andrea and ask her to hang out. I realized now that me and Laina are a lost cause, nothing will happen between us, and even if I do love her, I can't stay hung up on her.

Andrea was on her way over so I threw my clothes into the closet and tidied up a bit for her.

"Keeks?" I heard her screech from downstairs. I sighed at the nickname and walked downstairs. When I saw her I picked her up and kissed her and she giggled her obnoxiously loud laugh.

I set her down and we walked upstairs where she sat on my bed and did her nails as I filmed my video for O2L. If things couldn't get any worse, Laina and Jc walked in the door.

I was praying they wouldn't come upstairs. I was hoping I could get out of this without hurting anyone. I heard footsteps running up the stairs, Laina's slightly louder one because of her boot, and Laina squealed Jc's name. My blood was boiling but I focused on Andrea, asking her what she wanted to do.

"Let's go to the beach." She said and kissed my nose.

We got ready and right when we were exiting the door, Laina was exiting her room.

I practically shoved Andrea down the stairs. I looked back and Laina was waving me towards her, "wait one second , Andrea." I walked towards Laina and she looked down at her boot.

"Hey so I just wanted to tell you, I remembered something, about you and me." She said quietly.

"Oh that's awesome Laina, what was it?" I said and smiled at her as she slightly looked up from the ground.

"I remembered one time, we were on the roof of some building or house, and you told me to never settle, because I didn't have to settle. I guess it was when I was still dating Sam." she said quietly. I laughed at her and she chuckled back, shaking her head and turning around. I parted from her, walking back downstairs and meeting Andrea in the car and drove to the beach.
