Chapter 6

"Sam." I shoot out of bed and run over to him.

"Laina what was that?" he asked in as turn voice gripping my arm firmly.

"Sam I just fell asleep while watching movies with Ki I'm sorry." he must be really mad he never calls me by my full name.

"You know what Laina." he said in a whisper scream throwing me up against the door hinge. "I always KNEW you were a cheater!"

"Sam that hurts." I say feeling light headed and faint.

"Lai?" I hear Kian say as he gets out of bed and walks towards Sam.

"Kian fucking stay out of this." Sam says letting me go and walking towards Kian.

"No, don't fight." I manage the last little squeak out before I see Sam punch Kian in the stomach and him fall down.

And then I was out.

LIA'S POV

I hear screaming and a thud. "JC what was that?" I shake him awake. He just farts and turns over. What a big fucking help JC.

I rush up the stairs and see Lai on the floor knocked out with blood on the back of her head.

"Oh my gosh." I whisper to myself and call 911.

"911 what's your emergency?"

"Hi I'm at home and my friend is knocked out on the ground and I don't know who did it but there is blood we need and ambulance immediately."

"Okay what's your address?"

Soon the ambulance and police arrive and I walk up to the bedroom. They take a bloody Laina and, a bloody Kian into the ambulance.

"Sam what the fuck happened?" I yell at him in handcuffs.

"My temper got out of hand. I can't believe I did that, she'll never forgive me." he said looking genuinely sorry and upset.

Oh god. JC and I have to bail Sam out of jail.

"I'm going to the hospital." I say and don't wait for either of their responses before leaving.

"Hello Ms. Johnson." the doctor says to me as a look at Laina in the bed.

"What's the prognosis?" I say with a giggle at how stupid I sound.

"She has a bad concussion. I suggest keeping her in bed for a while, as for Mr. Lawley, he has a broken nose. So just make sure he takes in easy." I nod thank the doctor but before he leaves he says, "oh plus can you give this depression and self harm flyer to Ms. Scaltes? I noticed scars on her hips and wrists, some of them don't look too old." he says with a concerned look, smiles at me then leaves.

"Oh gosh. I'm going to have to ask her about this." I whisper to myself out loud and then I kiss her forehead and go to call JC, but he's there talking to Kian.

"Lia, how's Lai?" Kian questions.

"She's sleeping. We can take her home tonight." I say and sit down on JC's lap.

"Today's been a long day huh?" JC says with a sigh and kisses me on my forehead.

"You have no idea." I say and close my eyes on his chest.

SAM'S POV

I don't even know what happened this morning.

I love Laina. And Kian. How do I just attack people I love.

I'm so stupid.
